Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

Belated Birthday Party for Ruby Rose

So barring any further complications, Yang and the rest of the cRWBY in Verens are throwing a belated birthday party for Ruby on the 10th.

I'll be tossing a log up on that day, probably after the event finale goes up just in case there are any setting changes to account for. Invites are being sent out (let me know here if you want an IC one in your inbox) but the house will also be decorated and open for mingling to anybody passing by, kinda like how the giant Floor is Lava game worked a few months back.

Looking for: Either planned partners or characters working on the same tasks she can join up with. In terms of anything that involves fighting, she would only work with people physically capable that are likely to cover her blind spots (heavy hitters who can more than take care of themselves physically, often those who need time to really get a good rolling lariat in while she evades and gets in fast hits).

For anything else, anyone will do. However, Jill won't go out of her way to get a character involved if yours isn't interested or needs to be forced to work with her... unless there's extreme comedic value to it. Then she's in.

Brief Personality: Small timid young girl who is frequently afraid of people due to a past of bullying and neglect, but who also cares very deeply for others and wants very badly to make friends! Despite her age, she has a mothering streak and is liable to fuss over others just as much as they fuss over her. Has a concerning lack of... well, concern over some of the things she has experienced,
Appearance: Smol!!

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Solidly slice of life!
Current Activities/Developments: WELL, IT TURNS OUT HER TEARS ARE HEALING, THAT'S A THING. Other than that she still has some trauma left over from being kidnapped long ago, and she's working her way through the remaining issues still. On the more day-to-day front, she works at Pleasantea Pastries, a café, and has become mildly famous due to the tea she brews being both highly delicious and infusing the drinker with feelings of warmth and love.
Future Developments: Not too much in particular, I'm mainly looking into things related to her castmate, so! The very big picture is, she's working through her trauma, but I don't have any particular plans as to how she tackles this nor how it ultimately is resolved. Also, dunamis!! I want her to learn how to use it.
Shipping/Romance: She is smol. If someone wants to play out puppy crushes I'm okay with that, but definitely ask first and be sure the character is in her age range (she's about 12ish 13ish).

Seeking: More friends of all ages! Extra love for those who are close to her in age, but I'm always up for having her meet older individuals too!

Brief Personality: At first, Roxas can largely come off as a grump, or at least a serious minded individual. He tries his best not to be, and warms easily to people. He's kind, even if he doesn't recognize it in himself, and determined.
Appearance: Roxas has spikey blond hair, is more on the short side, and tends to sport a checkerboard pattern.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! I do want Roxas to do more exploring though. He's got a wyvern and I'd like to see him use Tarn more for those kinds of things. But I'm always up for slice of life shenanigans as well.
Current Activities/Developments: The biggest thing for Roxas is that he had a rather large argument with Sora recently and the two are kind of avoiding each other. He's also dealing with the fact that he has a whole set of memories that are just gone and he's only learning about them now. Also the departure of his best friend, Axel. There's a lot going on in his head and he's mostly going through the motions to keep himself focused.
Future Developments: He needs to learn Dunamis or some form of control over his emotions. As well as being able to explain his whole memory situation and stuff like that. I'd like for him to get a sense of peace with both these things because right now his biggest fear is losing control.
Shipping/Romance:I'm not interested in shipping Roxas at this moment.

Seeking: Mentor figures is the big one for me right now, but friends and rivals are always appreciated.

Brief Personality: A bit posh and more book smart than street smart, Marcille nonetheless loves food and friends. She gets along best with other female characters, but also gets into all kinds of scrapes with dudes. Generally speaking, Marcille's life alternates between relaxing with a nice meal and a good magical book and HORRIBLE DANGEROUS INDIGNITIES, like having to scare off giant chickens.
Appearance: Marcille is an ordinary-looking blond elf mage adventurer.

Current Activities/Developments: Marcille has opened a magical shot called the Silver Serpent, where she lives with Veigar. She's offering lessons, filling requests for materials, and crafting certain magical items. Generally speaking, she spends her days researching magic and cooking great meals.
Future Developments: At some point, I'd like for her to reveal what happened to her best friend, Farlyn. Also the whole HORRIBLE FORBIDDEN MAGIC THING. I also need to update her sometime to include the horrible consequences of using horrible forbidden magic, but maybe that will come after a few more chapters.
Shipping/Romance: Interested in ships with men or women as they develop.

Brief Personality: Punny and occasionally too serious anti-bioterrorism expert. She's the sort of person to hide her true feelings, but she's incredibly expressive in her eyes.
Appearance: She's described canonically as "compact and muscular," (just under 5'5") with a focus on legs, thighs, and glutes. She's dyed her hair back to brown, but she's still currently in the bodysuit.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both! She's trying to relax a little, but she's the kind of person that likes to be out doing things.
Current Activities/Developments: She's going to burn the battlesuit and otherwise just stick to the task board and try to make more acquaintances.
Future Developments: She has to work through a lot of guilt, anger, and shame after three years of losing autonomy, but possibly a more permanent job would be nice for something in the near future.
Shipping/Romance: Jill is pretty big on teasing, which can lead to flirting, but she's Professional Mode. It's not entirely impossible, but she has herself to focus on rn.

Seeking: Older characters; Jill's 35 and hangs out with people her age into their 50s/60s. I don't mind younger characters (or mentoring), but I'm especially looking for friends her own age and maybe a sparring/workout buddy and adventure partner or two! Here's her task board recruitment!
Offering: Jill's great to just chill and have some BBQ with and makes a good Weird Aunt-type. She's weight training and exercising daily and is a great sparring partner.

Brief Personality: An artificial clone of the God of Destruction and programmed to destroy humanity, but has severely malfunctioned and now wants to be a Real Girl. She is outgoing and cheerful and despite being a hot mess/constant failure, her positivity never wavers. She loves love, wants to fall in love, likes sweet things, cute things, and trying out regular person things for the first time. She hates nothing more than people being lonely.
Appearance: 5'6" tall + whatever heels she wears. Still wears her wedding dress out of convenience but also wears normal things that are usually some combination of pink, white, and red, with green clover accessories. Other outfits here, here, and here.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Either! Elphelt has been trying to keep the whole 'immortal weapon of mass destruction' thing on the down low and deliberately gravitating towards SoL, but she needs to eventually suck it up and reveal the truth to more people. She isn't going to keep it secret at the expense of anyone's safety, so if someone is in danger she will jump right in.
Current Activities/Developments: She is currently still drowning in the freedom she has here. Due to being less than a year old despite having all the programming to function in society (mostly), she has few first hand experiences. So, she is focusing on doing as many things as possible as much as possible, no matter how lame (like doing chores for other people).

Future Developments: Eventually, I want Elphelt's real programming to take her over again which would mean becoming a anti-human murder machine. Prior to that, I want her to continue having some friendships where the other person doesn't realize she is anything but human and others that she has to open up about it. She is jealous of humans, does NOT want to go home, has a serious inferiority complex, and tried to kill herself before arriving in game to avoid being caught by her mother, so she has a lot of stuff she needs to work through even though she acts sweet and cute.
Shipping/Romance: She falls in love with everyone she meets. Her actually attempting to get into a relationship would be great, especially given she herself consciously wants to but also because she is programmed by her mother to be incapable of love so she will end up unconsciously sabotaging herself and pushing the other person away.

Seeking: People for her to do completely normal, mundane human things with. People to make her question her misinformed ideas on love and womanhood. People for her to literally swoop in and rescue. Other artificial people to support.
Offering: An unrelentingly optimistic and supportive and outgoing girl who will work herself ragged to help others and have fun.

I am good with either but I would like some slice of life antics, seeing as Rei's still settling in and lurking about; he's only really poked his head out when stuff happens, and I'd like to play with some more everyday stuff. That said I am also down for exploration shenanigans or whatever.
Current Activities/Developments: Rei's been more of a lurker, hanging back and popping his head up here and there when stuff's caught his attention. Otherwise, there hasn't been much really going on beyond the usual settling in stuff. He is a hacker who has nothing to really . . . hack, so he's been trying to do other things instead. Potentially.
Future Developments: I don't have any specific plans! I'd like to see Rei make some actual friends for once but beyond that, things are wide open with him. He's planning on sticking his head out here and there to help with things during events while appearing to be super unhelpful, so. You know. Stuff like that.
Shipping/Romance: Nothing at the moment and it's not rrrreally on his radar right now.

Seeking: Any! Like I said, I'd really like for him to make some more friends in general, whether they're snark buddies or someone patient or someone less patient and willing to smack him with a rolled up newspaper when he's too blunt or. Whatever. Reliable-ish adults could be interesting, since he's inclined to not trust them as much!
Offering: If you need a fourteen year old to simultaneously be snarky while quietly worrying about your character's well-being, Rei is your guy. 👍 He can be very blunt if need be, but he's also attempting to be more constructive these days, so he's good as a rough voice of reason.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Right now I am fairly open! I would rather avoid a lot of violence and pain for now, but if it comes up down the line then, you know. Stuff happens.

Brief Personality:
Serious military face is go.
Alice is a person who doesn't see herself as considerate when she really is, grew up on tales of heroes and aspires to be like them as well as the grandfather she saw as one of those heroes. She seeks to uphold what is right and just even if that means standing against those in far more powerful positions than herself. She has a strong sense of noblesse oblige and believes she must take no ones side to uphold the truth.

The last point she's been having some trouble with as time goes on and she acknowledges her feelings more. There's conflict between the part of her that wants to remain detached for her ideal of noblesse oblige and the other part of her that feels very deeply for those around her.

Appearance:
Full length picture.
Alice is best known for her height and slim build. At five foot and fairly tiny, it's a bit of a point in canon how surprising it is that she can be so intimidating. One fellow military man who tangled with her in a fight is surprised to see her shortly after and talks about how she seemed much taller when they fought. Overall she keeps a very military sort of way of dress with neat button ups and slack. Sometimes she wears short sleeve shirts when working here though.

World Type:
Pumpkin Scissors is a fictionalized world set three years after a ceasefire brought an end to a very long war. Based on the technology in the manga, it's loosely based around 1920-1930 and modeled off the end of World War I. It's a world in ruins and the series deals more with the aftermath of a prolonged war than the politics of the war itself, at least so far as the scanlations are concerned. There are topics ranging from government corruption to human experimentation but it's not a thoroughly dark series.

Arehtei Alignment: Thras

Established CR: Much of Alice's current CR is within the Voltron cast. She's good friends with both Shiro and Allura, both of who help at the Crescent School. She and Shiro are... dating??? Kind of??? As fumbingly and inept as Alice can because she's terrible with romantic relationships. She's also made decent friends with Bulat and was good friends with Juzo Sakakura as well. I have a CR chart, though it's in need of a bit of updating at the moment.

Interests:
1) The military. Or other peace keeping/war relief units.
2) Stories about heroes, whether they're fairytales or personal experience.
3) Stories about fights/wars.
4) Combat techniques and weaponry. She's a melee only type of gal.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE:
I am interested in getting Alice to relax a little on her heavily military-focused stance. She's been so wrapped up in learning combat and devoting herself to a military life that she's neglected to think about her feelings or anything else. It's to the point in canon where she feels guilt over the idea that she may actually be developing romantic feelings for someone because that means she's not focused exclusively on her work.
I want her to relax, I want her to learn what it is to have a life as well as still being active in combat and anything justice wise she gets into here. So far so good!

Current Developments:
October saw Alice battling a giant chicken and keeping to the status quo in general.

Future Developments:
I'm mostly sticking to what I said last CR meme. I'm mainly looking for her to grow into her feelings a little more. I would like for her to make a wide range of friends, both fighters and not. She's slowly come round to the notion of being seen just as herself, not as Alice Malvin the Noble or Second Lieutenant. I want to keep going with her self-exploration and discovery.

I'm also plotting a possible canon update eventually.

Shipping/Romance:
Alice is an absolute dullard when it comes to romance. In canon she's only started to feel the slight start of an affection for one of her Corporals and she's unsure if it's love or not. She's engaged but the engagement is chiefly for show.
At present she's tentatively agreed to try the whole dating thing with Shiro. She has no clue what this stuff entails though. I would love for people to try to school her on love, romance and all that.

Seeking: Friends, people to argue with, etc. A good deal of the people she has been friendly with have dropped over time so I want her to make more friends. People to school her on the finer points of emotions, people to spar with her

Offering: Alice is a decent listener and once you're a friend of hers, she'll always have your back. If you want a fighter who will back you up or someone who believes passionately in JUSTICE, that's Alice.

Not Interested In/Avoiding: I'm game for lots of things so there's nothing I'm really avoiding.

Asbel Lhant | Tales of Graces f

Brief Personality: Kind. Stubborn. The overprotective dad friend. Sappy friendship speeches with a straight face. Gets a gold "you tried" sticker. Thinks "Tiger Festival" is a great name.
Appearance: He's pretty average? Scruffy wine red hair, blue eyes, a very boyish face. Fashion-wise, Asbel's got the popped-collar thing going on with a long white coat, white disco pants, and lots of over-complicated trimmings. (Seriously, why do you need five buckles on each sleeve? Are they even functional? Who knows!)

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A mix of both! Asbel is a good candidate for slicey stuff, and his friendships are very important to him. However, he needs some adventure in his life too! I'd definitely like to start pushing him into exploring things and send him on more tasks!
Current Activities/Developments: Having just arrived, Asbel spent last month mostly taking it easy, friending it up, and acclimating to life in Empatheias, though he did help out with cleaning up Beacon House at the end of the month! He can often be found out and about in Verens (or at the cat café or at Rose's curry stall) as he familiarizes himself with the city. He might even be seen training with his sword in the afternoons somewhere out of the way of crowds. He's currently staying at Richard's place, on his couch, and is making sure he eats/sleeps/laughs regularly. On an emotional front, he's mostly stable at this point.
Future Developments: He is looking for a part-time job and tasks he can take on to help pay rent and save up for food, clothes, and a more practical sword if he's lucky. He will also be looking into records about things that happened in Empatheias previously (and being very, very bored about reading it). He also has plans to possibly start a club for sword enthusiasts. Otherwise I'm winging it, so let's do something! As for long-term goals.... Sometime down the road I would like to play around with apathy. And since he thinks chicken nuggets are called "man meat", I'm sure this will return to haunt him in the future.
Shipping/Romance: Asbel himself isn't actively looking for romance and is in fact pretty oblivious in that department. As a mun, though, I am definitely open to shipping possibilities as long as you don't mind the "friends to more" variety of slow burn.

Seeking: Follow-up CR!, All The Friends(!!), task buddies, team Peromei, mentors/father figures, people to protect, kids, non-humans who are learning to be their own people, people learning to trust others, royalty is always fun, any knightly or sword-wielding types because Asbel will fanboy admire the heck out of them, anyone who can possibly expand his interests/hobbies (riding? dancing??), traitor characters, tl;dr those are some ideas but basically anybody! :)b
Offering: Friendship speeches, reliable task partner, sword-wielding buddy, curry friend. He's a big brother and a not!dad, but he's young enough to fit into the opposite roles easily as well. Beyond all the sappy friendship stuff, he's got a healthy enough knowledge of diplomacy and battle tactics. He's also dealt with things like loss, losing touch with people you care about, and just... humans being human, their kindness and their failings and all that. (I've also got a dorky list of things he's good/terrible at if that helps at all!)
Not Interested In/Avoiding: I'm open to just about anything, but I will warn you that I'm not too great at writing detailed fight scenes. I'd also like to avoid too much negative CR at the same time - but in moderation, it's totally fine!

But really. We need to Do Things, Cherry! Maybe they meet in the library where Phi works? While Asbel researches the history of Verens? Or curry. Also an option because curry club.

Fortuna / Sync the Tempest, Tales of the Abyss

Brief Personality: Shitchild going through a very slow reform period. So less shitchild, more quiet and mildly uncertain how to people child. Though if you're from his cast, don't expect to see this.
Appearance: Green hair is about the only unusual thing about him. Also he's not that tall, only about 5'2"

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Sync is more the Adventure type, but I am okay with both. I trend towards adventure, only because it can be hard sometimes doing SoL with Sync, because of his lack of interest in people he doesn't know.
Current Activities/Developments: Mostly he's just dealing with the feeling of having let his good CR down when he killed Jade, and aside from that, not much is going on.
Future Developments: ??? I honestly don't know where I'm going with Sync right now. I would like to get him into more things, but I'm just kind of...idk. What do.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Ignis is currently focusing on the slice-of-life side of things, although he has a vested interest in the overarching plot so he is still keeping up with current events even if he is out of the fray for a bit. He will be returning to action soon!
Current Activities/Developments: Adjusting to being blind and re-learning the world around him. He's focusing on navigating his day-to-day life independently, though with some difficulty. He will be returning to work at From the Hearth this month, although he won't be doing much in the kitchen, since cooking is off the table for the time being.
Future Developments: Towards the end of the month, he’ll be getting in touch with friends concerning combat training to try and refine his skills and learn to properly fight blind. It’s going to take a lot of time and effort, but he can’t stand sitting idle and hates feeling useless even more. Current Activities/Developments: October was mostly a calm month for her, and she just went about her normal routine! Most recently, though, she's been dealing with the fallout of her classmate Ishimaru finding out about a bunch of stuff.

Current Activities/Developments: A couple of the people in Luke's house just vanished and he's trying to step up and take responsibility. This involves maybe a job hunt. ...In the broad sense, I want to work on Luke and his sense of self. He's reasonably secure, but the Asch thing has thrown him for a loop, and is continuing to throw him for a loop now and again, and it's really awkward living with the person you were cloned to replace okay.
Apart from that, I kind of want to see where he takes me; I have more long-term goals than short-term rn.

Current Activities/Developments: Her best friend just returned from his own canon update so she'll be looking for ways to help Ignis out where she can. She's also adjusting to, you know, having almost died, so there's that. She's got some awesome roommates who she could use more interacting with (love you guys!) who are teaching her how to live quietly. Other than that, she doesn't have much going on.

Future Developments: I'm starting to sound repetitive, but I'd like to her figure out what kind of job she can hold down, what kind of interests she holds, what kind of friends she can make, and how she can deal with being around the person who ruined her life, because yeah, we have a Krennic in the game. Brief Personality: In a nutshell, Dezel is a former lone wolf sort who is in the process of learning to be more personable and social. After years spent being essentially "alone" among his merchant/assassin family due to their inability to percieve him, plus his crap ton of issues and emotional baggage, Dezel got to the point where he automatically kept those who could percieve him at arm's length. Emotions beyond anger, hate and frustration were also difficult for him to process. Being in Verens for well over a year has helped him remember the importance of friendship and open a bit more, however, and though he remains the super serious sort in most cases, he has learned how to get close to others again and to be more open and honest with his friends and with himself. Of note, Dezel is also an excellent cook and has a major soft spot for animals and nature in general.
Appearance: For those who can see him (and for more information about seraphim visibility, check this handy-dandy guide here!), Dezel is a nearly 6'1" (185 cm) tall wind seraph with tan skin, shoulder length white-silver to green gradient hair and triangular shaped, shark-like teeth. His eyes are green, though they're often difficult to see due to his shaggy bangs and the way he tends to wear his black, amulet adorned top hat pulled down. He dresses largely in black and green, and tends to wear the same gear on a daily basis for very personal reasons. (Though once in a while he can be convinced to try a change of pace dependent on the occasion. He just needs to infuse any new clothing/accessories with his mana and "own" it so that it becomes just as invisible as he is to most humans.)

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Being a wind seraph, Dezel has a natural tendency toward wanderlust and likes to venture outside of Verens from time to time to get away from the routine life, sights and noise of the city. He's also used to life on the road and as an adventurer of sorts, given his travels with mercenaries, merchants and then the Shepherd Sorey. He's also a skilled fighter and does decently with support in battle. These are things that are easy for him to take on, however, so as his player I do sometimes prefer slice of life situations. As Dezel isn't the most social of creatures, it's good for his character development to be in awkward/difficult situations where he's forced to deal in words rather than with artes/weapons.
Current Activities/Developments: In some ways, Dezel is still reeling a bit from the false memories event in that while he previously accepted his fate at home, he is no longer so accepting of it now. If he could somehow alter his own timeline to fix his mistakes, he would. At the same time, he is also trying to make the most of his time in Verens and recently quit his job with the Enforcers to become Rose's business partner so they can run the Sparrowfeathers merchant guild on the island and beyond. Making their committment permanent through marriage is also on the horizon.
Future Developments: Somehow, Dezel still hasn't made much progress in learning Dunamis, so that should likely change. He also needs to deal with a lot of the self-loathing that's cropped up again due to the false memory event. Knowing he can't go home has left him feeling guilty and restless, and he either needs to learn to let that go or discover a way to change his own fate, if such a thing is even possible. Likely he and Rose will also need help with their wedding, and with building up their business/managing the shelter they want to take on maintain for the less fortunate in Verens.
Shipping/Romance: Dezel is obviously very taken. Given his level of obsession devotion to his fiancee, he has no interest in anyone else and either wouldn't notice any attempts to flirt with him or, if he did notice, would end up flustered/annoyed. (Mind you, I'm not saying flirting can't or shouldn't happen... the result would probably be a brush off or something negative, though.)

Seeking: Honestly, just about anything, really? My personal preference is more toward positive CR, though, and I do like placing Dezel in situations where he either has to deal with extremely positive sorts (because they tend to be more than he knows what to do with and that makes interactions entertaining) or those who may somehow need his help outside combat situations, since that may force him outside his own comfort zone.
Offering: Dezel is the grouchy, serious, straight man sort who tends to get teased by others if just because his flustered reactions can be highly entertaining. He's got a softer side to him that makes him a surprisingly good uncle/older brother sort, however (some of us jokingly like to call him "Dadzel" in relation to how he treats his much younger CR). His barriers do take some time to break down (the journey is half the fun?), but once someone gets through to him, he can be a very loyal, protective friend.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: While I do enjoy slice of life RP and that can be very good for Dezel's development, I always want those kinds of interactions to have a point behind them. If a subject of discussion is too mundane, there is that risk that Dezel won't be able to maintain interest, as he's never been the sort for small talk.

Appearance: Weiss stands at 5'3" and she's almost always in a short dress with a petticoat, and high heels. She's a lot shorter than she looks! Her hair is silvery white, and her eyes are blue. Her hair is inches below her buttocks but it's almost always tied up in a side ponytail. She has a scar that goes down her left eye, hardly covered by her bangs.

She never wears dark colours, and her closet consists of either white, lavender, or light blue shades. Sometimes, her clothing has a hint of red, but it's all very subtle. Her dresses are usually short, lined with lace and glitter. She wears a petticoat underneath, making her skirt all the more frilly. If she's not wearing boots with heels, she's wearing high heeled sandals with ribbons that go up the half of her calf.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A bit of both! Weiss enjoys her time here because it's a semblance of true freedom. It's her attempt at having a normal life, but at the same time, she's someone who can't just sit down and not do anything if there's something she can do. She wants to explore as much of this world as possible and learn from it. If she gets to help people along the way, then that's even better!
Current Activities/Developments: I actually had to take a hiatus mid-October because of MH reasons, which was why I didn't get to do much. The usual things she does is sing at the Gold Pan, write for the Schnee News Network, and do various tasks on the task board, though. She's pretty settled in, so her development, so to speak, has been a bit stagnant.
Future Developments: I still plan on her becoming some sort of information hub, but I feel like this will be a bit difficult. In any case, I also want her to have an adventure of her own—she can go with someone and explore a place, etc.
Shipping/Romance: I am all for shipping OOCly! Weiss would be fine with romance so long as the other person doesn't ~fall in love~ with her. Brief Personality: Merisia is prickly, stubborn, and slow-to-trust; but well-meaning and generous beneath her grumpy exterior. She prefers to keep people at arm's length, though she's quite loyal to those she likes and can be won over with some persistence. She has a low tolerance for malice or injustice; being a horrible person is actually an easier way to make her mad than insulting her. Merisia strongly values her freedom and enjoys treasure hunting, studying magic, and the occasional bout of mischief/pranking.
Appearance: She's a six-foot-tall lavender elf with a white tattoo over one eye, blonde hair (tipped in light brown) and red eyes. She can typically seen in her acolyte's robes, although on warmer days she changes into something more casual. She can often be seen with her familiar, Carbuncle. He comes in a few colors, but usually she has out his Emerald form. He also comes in a hardier Topaz form, which has gold fur, and her recently-acquired Ruby form, which is smaller than the other two forms but much fluffier, and has red fur.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both are great! But I mostly lean towards adventure and anything with the potential for character development. Merisia is an adventurer so she's always eager to go exploring or treasure hunting, but doesn't mind taking breaks from the chaos.
Current Activities/Developments: Merisia has more or less overcome her trust issues, so she's less prickly than she usually is and thus a bit easier to approach. She's still practicing dunamis, and while she is making good progress, she's still got a ways to go before she can control it without problems. Rose is teaching Merisia how to fight with a pair of daggers in exchange for some sewing commissions, and Merisia is teaching Sora to use archanima. She's also finally on better terms with Kor. Sadly, most of her Halloween plans were foiled by the Aiada mayhem, but she still managed to send out a few gifts to some friends of hers before it all went down.
Future Developments: She'll continue to work on dunamis in the coming months, eventually showing some signs of control and even using it alongside her own magic, or incorporating it into it like she has once before. She may or may not end up teaching more of her CR archanima, as well. Along with strengthening her own emotional control and coming to terms with a few darker personal issues regarding her sense of trust and friendship, I'm also going to be working on her CR. Merisia is also going to attempt to summon new forms of Carbuncle, but like with Ruby, it's not going to cooperate for now....
Shipping/Romance: I wouldn't mind Merisia getting involved in a romance, but she can be pretty tough to win over, so it'll be on the slow-burn side.

Seeking: New friends! New rivals! Possible partners in mischief! And maybe potential archanima students, as she seems to have stumbled into the role of teacher recently. I'm always up for any new CR with Meri.

Character Name: Rinoa Heartilly
Canon: Final Fantasy VIII
Brief Personality: A lively young woman with the ability to touch people's hearts. Open and honest with her feelings, she speaks her mind without reservation. Driven by her ambition, she can be stubborn at times.
Appearance: Rinoa is a woman of average height. She has black hair with three brown streaks on either side of her hair. She usually wears her hair loose, as well. Her eyes are brown.

Her clothing style is... strange, at best. She's known for her blue sleeveless duster sweater that has white angel wings printed at the back of it. She wears blue arm warmers to accompany the duster sweater, a black tank top, black cycling shorts, and a dark blue skirt to top if off. It might look cute, but it definitely looks weird up close, and when you try to analyse it.

An important thing to note is that she wears a necklace with a ring on it.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Rinoa has actually been doing a lot of adventuring since she got here, so it would be nice for her to lay back and have some slice of life.
Current Activities/Developments: I went on hiatus mid-October which hurt some plans, so current activites and developments... not much! Squall has hinted that he seems to be from Rinoa's future, which means there are things she's unaware of and it's bugging her A LOT.
Future Developments: I'd like for Rinoa to get better at fighting! She will be joining a karate club of sorts with Jaune Arc, so that will be a thing! :D But as I mentioned in the previous CR meme: I'd like for her to get stronger both physically and emotionally! She is aligned to Thras because of the fear she constantly feels, so hopefully, being able to spar with someone and surround herself with friends would help her with this.

I also plan on canon updating her in the future, to when she's become a sorceress. :') I WANT PAIN... I'm thinking of doing it in December, but I haven't decided yet. It depends on the CR she'll make this month.
Shipping/Romance: I have no plans! Rinoa is a girl who crushes on people easily, so if you're cool with Rinoa crushing on your character after their first meeting (if it was a good one, anyway), let me know.

Appearance: Blammo. You bet your ass that tie's a clip-on. He'd been grabbed by it too many times for it to be legit.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Pretty open to both. He suits for adventure because of his background in Eorzea, but he also enjoys working on the machines around here as well as finding things to do to help people in Verens.
Current Activities/Developments: His birthday was just on the 31st and he went on an evening stroll right here! That aside, he's a pilot to help with the Briarlan Trade Deal, all while learning Techmotion as opposed to dunamis. He'll unveil some pretty cool shit in the future. He can also bake now! Whee! He learned so much from everyone, thank you!
Future Developments: He's building his own airship and will be living in it rather than in his cottage when it's done, and on top of that he's got a Top Secret Project he'll be unveiling in about two weeks and some change before Thanksgiving break. He'll be using said project to thank the folks who responded to his post involving baking!

Brief Personality: He's a troll A quiet and reserved swordsman whose also got a rather dry sense of humor and he likes to tease his friends when the opportunity arises. He's dealing with his literal Darkness too so his quiet nature is not unwarranted but he's a genuinely nice person. Or, to quote Alice, he is of a dreadful sort where he gives so much love to others than he doesn't have any left to give to himself. *s-sob*
Appearance: Too pretty for his own good

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: He's had a good mix of both already and I actually prefer it that way as I don't want to keep doing the same thing all the time. He's surprisingly good for some slice of life moments despite his not always talkative nature (apologies to anyone who may have a hard time chatting with him! He's getting there!) and he starts to open up more in those moments but I also don't mind sending him off to go fight something.
Current Activities/Developments: Currently being pranked on by Auron because these two are secretly five years old. Otherwise, I don't think I'll be doing another open post this month aside from the net post, so he'll probably be poking other people's posts! He'll be having a talk with Warrior of Light after their fight, his scars of darkness were removed by Usagi just in time for winter where he can't show off his awesome biceps.
Future Developments: More dunamis training to get more control of his Darkness, also more ways for him to open up. He really is enjoying his time here, the break from Sephiroth and the Darkness is doing him a lot of favors. So let's ruin it! No, I'm kidding, don't ruin it lol But maybe having him face those demons would be good along with just connecting with more people. I should probably start making a CR chart, idk.

Character Name: Hajime Hinata
Canon: Dangan Ronpa (he's specifically taken from Kibou-hen.)
Brief Personality: Originally a normal teenage boy who was then sucked into the pits of hell called the influence of Hope's Peak Academy to the point where he used to be obsessed with the idea of being special and noticed. But it's okay, he's better now. Generally a rather outgoing young man with a sense of snark and slight sarcastic humor that he tends to keep to himself, but he likes to listen to other people and help others with their problems. He's also a literal Walking Spoiler for the events of Super Dangan Ronpa 2 along with the anime that follows. He's pretty emotional - although sometimes he'll suck his emotions in to protect himself as a precautionary measure - to the point where he pretty much wears his heart on his sleeve most of the time. There are exceptions to the rule. Other than that, he likes to understand people but has Strong Feelings about murder, believes friendship is really important, and just wishes to be himself. He's trying really hard.
Appearance: Generally - unless otherwise stated - Hinata is a 6' lanky young man with rather long legs (because it's Dangan Ronpa) brown protagonist hair with an ahoge and striking dual colored eyes. One eye is green, the other is red. He can change his eye and hair color at will using Dunamis - or sometimes his emotions just do the trick for him, but that's the general default. He also has a large chest and only the art director knows why.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Definitely a mixture of both, though I definitely do lean towards plot and adventure when I can with him.
Current Activities/Developments: Currently, there are a few things that I'm dealing with here in regards to Hinata: the first being the Aiada plot which he will be coming back from on the 5th. The other being that two of his closest friends - and people he deeply cares about more than just a friend - Komaeda and Nanami just went back home so he's coping with that. He'll more than likely be making an announcement about their departure and handing out some letters from Komaeda via messenger pigeon for the most part - unless someone wants to meet up with him on purpose.

Also as a note, he's the boss at Future Beginnings if anybody ever wants a job there - just hit me up! - works part-time at From the Hearth and is also a part of the Arehtei committee.
Future Developments: It's difficult to say, right now. I definitely need for Hinata to cope with the losses, considering he never thought that he'd still be in this world if Komaeda ever left, so he's going to be reeling slightly from it but act like everything is alright. I definitely need for him to have more friends outside of his canon to talk to since he doesn't exactly have many he's close to. In terms of the future, I do want him to revisit Briarlan at some point when things have calmed down - although this is partially dependent on the current event situation - and have him deal with Flowmotion technology to see if he can figure something out. Another one of my goals is to make Hinata into an archaeologist as well, hopefully. If anybody's interested in any of that, hit me up. (Or hit me up for other reasons, sure.)
Shipping/Romance: One-sided things are alright, but otherwise I'd prefer no romance for him. He's married and is already in love with two people that just left, he's not having the best of times in the romance department right now.

Seeking: As I said above, I'm pretty open to having Hinata get more friends. I am also open to co-workers or people who drop by Future Beginnings for any reason, whether it's to meet someone else working there or request Hinata for something.
Offering: Hinata is that guy who is pretty easygoing and not hard to chat to about pretty much anything. Even though he's not exactly down with murder, he does try his best to understand others. People in canon have suggested that his talent might have been the Ultimate Counselor and he's pretty willing to offer any of his services - whether that be chatting or teaching someone a talent, etcetera - to anybody who asks. He's also the type of guy who doesn't want to run away from the truth, no matter how terrible or scary that might be. Also, he believes in a bright future.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: I'd rather not have Hinata die at the moment, given that he's dealing with a lot of baggage right now.

Brief Personality: A cowardly coyote that uses bragging and an inflated ego to hide the fact he actually lacks self-confidence. A talented chef and amazing swordsman, he's actually a decent guy once you get around to befreinding him.
Appearance: He's a bipedal coyote, for starters? He also wears a (very silly) white belt which looks more like a child harness than anything actually resembling fashion.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Antoine is more for the adventure type, trying to solve the mysteries of Empath in order for him to go home. As such I try to throw him in whatever exploration logs I can. But time here has made him bitter that each exploration and adventure hasn't helped him get any closer to returning back to his home world.
Current Activities/Developments: Antoine is getting bitter that for all his help in the exploration, fighting and such, he's not any closer to getting home. But he's trying to put on a brave face, knowing that being too depressed won't solve anything. So he's wearing a mask of smiles and confidence.
Future Developments: Perhaps some Dunamis training? And some help getting over his robot/machine prejudice.
Shipping/Romance: Nope, he's taken. But he'd be happy to give love advice, and he has several times on occasion.

Offering: He's the type who will worry over children here, and offer his help if he truly thinks someone needs it. He was raised to be a gentleman, so women get the first priority when it comes to helping others (though he's well aware many women can kick his ass.) He'll also budge in if he thinks you're doing something wrong (like cooking). As a swordsman, he's up for some hand-waved practice and training!
