Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

Lightning Farron | Final Fantasy XIII

Character Name: Lightning Farron
Canon: Final Fantasy XIII
Brief Personality: Comes off as a bit cold and stern, but she's got a heart of gold and cares a lot about her family and friends and the general goodwill of the people. Has a bit of a hero complex and always has to try to save the world even if she sometimes hates having to do it. It leaves a sour taste in her mouth no thanks to that god who made her the saviour. Has a bit of an imposing and commanding air about her as well. Also, a really dry sense of humour. Don't feel obligated to laugh at her stupid jokes just because she looks mean.
Appearance: Like an FF protag.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A good mix of both! I think at the moment, she's happier to do something more slice of life. A lot's been happening lately that I think she just needs some time to sit back and try to relax so it's going to be a much heavier focus on slice of life for a little while. See below.
Current Activities/Developments: Her best friend just returned from his own canon update so she'll be looking for ways to help Ignis out where she can. She can probably be spotted at From the Hearth quite a bit running errands. She's also still trying to deal with Lumina being around, having just broken the news to Snow. Also dealing with Machina and Noel getting upset in her kitchen and Machina almost burning it down because of their discussion surrounding Eidolons... whoops. She is also forever dealing with her emotions and the fact that she basically wears her heart on her sleeve now...
Future Developments: She will likely be seeking out the Arehtei sooner than later, with or without Ignis. She's decided that she wants to try and find out who or what decides who comes and goes from the island and why, so that'll be a thing in her near future. When she sets her mind to something, she sticks to it. She's still stuck in an angry spiral and dealing with recent disappearances so please bear with her... Also she'll be doing some combat training.
Shipping/Romance: She's currently not interested!

Seeking: Friends, hunt partners, anything! Please don't join her fanclub, though. It's all smelly teenage boys.
Offering: Someone who will be very real and honest, someone to kick butt with, and very very fancy and over the top fight scenes because that's how she do. Equipped with rose petals and everything!

But YES, I would totally be down with Crowe coming along for the ride. I'm not sure how far she'll get or what she'll find but she trusts her enough to allow her to join in. :D She'll probably start diving deeper into it a little later though, still kind of trying to figure out what to do atm.

I am all for them talking to each other about where they come from, though. These are my fave kinds of conversations :D

YES! I will add a closed top level in my open post for Hope and Lightning, and I plan on tossing her at Cloud's post tonight :)

also, I'd be down for a task if there's something that they could do together! Snow and Hope are gonna do the cat scratches one (most likely entailing Snow throwing Hope onto said cat because, y'know.)

I don't know if you might be interested in some slice of lifey thing between Lightning and Hei here; Hei works at From the Hearth and if she's around they may bump into each other and I was kinda looking for some CR with characters of comparable age to him (22ish).

With that said, for the sake of clarity, the way Hei acts when he's at From the Hearth or in a normal situation is as Li - and a lot of it is an act. He has consciously put up walls between the parts of his life due to Reasons and still hasn't worked past that in Empatheias where they're less necessary.

So, when he's being "normal" he's kinda boring, so maybe it might also be interesting for her to meet him being the masked Black Reaper, which he does at night or whenever shit is going down. He's not going to be as forthcoming when he's doing this though but it's good for the fighty stuff, he fights with knives and wire and is pretty acrobat-y and may be along the lines of what you're looking for? He probably won't fight her unless he has a reason to, but!

OH, this sounds really interesting!

I am all for some slice of life things with people, especially for her and at the Hearth since she'll be spending some increased time there helping out (even if she doesn't work there, she doesn't care what Ignis says) so it seems like a logical place for them to meet! Perhaps down the line she can meet him again as the Black Reaper :D

I'll be tossing up an open post either tonight or tomorrow so if you would like to throw him at that, that'd be awesome!

Maya Fey | Ace Attorney

Character Name: Maya Fey
Canon: Ace Attorney
Brief Personality: Bubbly, eccentric, kinda sorta really weird. She's nosy and has no sense of personal space and will get all up in your face without a care in the world. Maya sometimes has no filter but really, she does mean well! She can be super friendly unless you tick her off or imply that you think she's old. Also very intuitive and empathetic and is very good at reading people.
Appearance: boops! Don't let those nice legs fool you -- she's only 5'2"! (I know...)

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both!! She does do better in more slice of life situations, and by better I actually mean she doesn't almost die, but I'd love to throw her into more situations where she wouldn't be put in as much danger. She's done it enough times on the island by now that she's finally learned what her limits are (the hard way). If anyone wants to go on adventure with her though, she would totally go.
Current Activities/Developments: She's slowly delving deeper into trying to figure out why her spirit channeling didn't work, with Noel's help. This is the start of many bad decisions and she'll be asking the network about death-related things on the island at some point this month! Likely next week! She's still living alone in a giant house with a bunch of animals, so please hang out with her before she transforms into a crazy wyvern lady...
Future Developments: Future developments are likely going to revolve around the whole spirit channeling thing... nervous laugh...
Shipping/Romance: Nah! She's got a bunch of other things she's more worried about right now. I'm not closed to the idea but it would have to be under very very special circumstances.

Seeking: Any and all kinds! I enjoy pitting her against grumps because she likes to prod and test how far she can go, even if it ends negatively. Adventure friends, wyvern friends, etc!
Offering: Does anyone need a friend who drags them to all the best restaurants in town? How about someone who doesn't mind her own business and sticks her nose into everything? I've got both of those.

Hey! I would defs love to get some kind of CR with Maya potentially. I've got this grump here who responds pretty well (read: hilariously) to people who prod who's also super into (quasi-)safe adventuring and exploring and whatnot. He is also easily dragged/bullied into things so there is that as well!

I actually think I saw an open post for him that I was considering throwing Maya at last night but then I fell asleep... I am all for this because I love tossing her at grumps so I can throw her at Rei in his open log if you're cool with that :D

Ryuji Sakamoto | Persona 5

Canon: Persona 5
Brief Personality: LOUD AND PROUD, Ryuji is in a perpetual state of capslock and doesn't even care. He's got a bit of a temper and is vulgar, blunt, and his mouth moves faster than his brain most of the time. He's a no bullshit kind of guy so if he has an opinion on something, you're probably gonna hear it. And loudly. He's got a heart of gold though and is a giant puppy with an infinite supply of blond hair dye...
Appearance: Leaves this here.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Since he's still brand new, I haven't had the chance to throw him into a more adventure kind of setting so that might be fun to see! I love finding ways to make him yell his pants off and a little danger never hurt anyone, right? I do enjoy slice of life as well so there's going to be both of these things sprinkled in!
Current Activities/Developments: He's still just getting settled into Verens with all of his PT friends. Still finds it really weird and all of that. Only thing I have going for him this month is a hunt with Auron and Akira where they're going to be American Idols sing really badly probably. Otherwise, just getting used to things and meeting new people is on his radar! Oh, and so is pranking bad adults with Akira.
Future Developments: I'm not really sure yet since he's super duper new to the game, but you better believe that whatever the Phantom Thieves get up to, Ryuji is gonna be there too! I'd love for him to get more involved with them and the rest of the Persona cast especially, but I do want to branch his CR out past that and follow up with people he met on the intro log as well as throw him at new CR.
Shipping/Romance: Nah, nothing at the moment. With the right buildup and chemistry sure, but it's not currently on my list of priorities for him.

Seeking: ANYTHING! Friends, people to cause trouble with, people he can fight with or against!
