Plot and CR With Me: November
Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!
The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!
• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.
• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

Hajime Hinata
Canon: Dangan Ronpa (he's specifically taken from Kibou-hen.)
Brief Personality: Originally a normal teenage boy who was then sucked into the pits of hell called the influence of Hope's Peak Academy to the point where he used to be obsessed with the idea of being special and noticed. But it's okay, he's better now. Generally a rather outgoing young man with a sense of snark and slight sarcastic humor that he tends to keep to himself, but he likes to listen to other people and help others with their problems. He's also a literal Walking Spoiler for the events of Super Dangan Ronpa 2 along with the anime that follows. He's pretty emotional - although sometimes he'll suck his emotions in to protect himself as a precautionary measure - to the point where he pretty much wears his heart on his sleeve most of the time. There are exceptions to the rule. Other than that, he likes to understand people but has Strong Feelings about murder, believes friendship is really important, and just wishes to be himself. He's trying really hard.
Appearance: Generally - unless otherwise stated - Hinata is a 6' lanky young man with rather long legs (because it's Dangan Ronpa) brown protagonist hair with an ahoge and striking dual colored eyes. One eye is green, the other is red. He can change his eye and hair color at will using Dunamis - or sometimes his emotions just do the trick for him, but that's the general default. He also has a large chest and only the art director knows why.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Definitely a mixture of both, though I definitely do lean towards plot and adventure when I can with him.
Current Activities/Developments: Currently, there are a few things that I'm dealing with here in regards to Hinata: the first being the Aiada plot which he will be coming back from on the 5th. The other being that two of his closest friends - and people he deeply cares about more than just a friend - Komaeda and Nanami just went back home so he's coping with that. He'll more than likely be making an announcement about their departure and handing out some letters from Komaeda via messenger pigeon for the most part - unless someone wants to meet up with him on purpose.
Also as a note, he's the boss at Future Beginnings if anybody ever wants a job there - just hit me up! - works part-time at From the Hearth and is also a part of the Arehtei committee.
Future Developments: It's difficult to say, right now. I definitely need for Hinata to cope with the losses, considering he never thought that he'd still be in this world if Komaeda ever left, so he's going to be reeling slightly from it but act like everything is alright. I definitely need for him to have more friends outside of his canon to talk to since he doesn't exactly have many he's close to. In terms of the future, I do want him to revisit Briarlan at some point when things have calmed down - although this is partially dependent on the current event situation - and have him deal with Flowmotion technology to see if he can figure something out. Another one of my goals is to make Hinata into an archaeologist as well, hopefully. If anybody's interested in any of that, hit me up. (Or hit me up for other reasons, sure.)
Shipping/Romance: One-sided things are alright, but otherwise I'd prefer no romance for him. He's married and is already in love with two people that just left, he's not having the best of times in the romance department right now.
Seeking: As I said above, I'm pretty open to having Hinata get more friends. I am also open to co-workers or people who drop by Future Beginnings for any reason, whether it's to meet someone else working there or request Hinata for something.
Offering: Hinata is that guy who is pretty easygoing and not hard to chat to about pretty much anything. Even though he's not exactly down with murder, he does try his best to understand others. People in canon have suggested that his talent might have been the Ultimate Counselor and he's pretty willing to offer any of his services - whether that be chatting or teaching someone a talent, etcetera - to anybody who asks. He's also the type of guy who doesn't want to run away from the truth, no matter how terrible or scary that might be. Also, he believes in a bright future.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: I'd rather not have Hinata die at the moment, given that he's dealing with a lot of baggage right now.

Himeko Inaba
Canon: Kokoro Connect (specifically the light novels over the anime; she's from Yume Random)
Brief Personality: Inaba is what you can call an ordinary girl who's dealt with some Shit. Specifically being experimented on to the point where she doesn't exactly trust supernatural bullshit that much. She also has genuine trust issues and problems opening up to others. She's trying her best to break that habit but it's a little difficult. But she's definitely trying.
Appearance: Given that she's been in Empatheias for over a year how, her dark black hair has definitely grown a little past her shoulders so it's a bit longer than it normally is in canon, probably something similar to this, in terms of length. In terms of her appearance, she tends to lean towards getting clothes that are closer to modern Japanese (circa 2012) clothes, but she'll tend to blend in with the crowd if necessary. She leans more in neutral shades and blacks over lighter shades, but she wears the lighter shades (yellows, pinks, etc) when she's going on a date or trying to impress.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: A mixture of both! Inaba isn't exactly the type to adventure, but if it means she can get answers, she'll do it. Her series pretty much deals with going through both, and I want to reflect that in her character as well.
Current Activities/Developments: Currently dealing with relationship issues! Yuuri doesn't exactly know this yet - although he probably will sooner rather than later - but Inaba's been dating him while she actually has a boyfriend at home. Her reasons for doing so are rather selfish, and she knows this, and in light of what happened in the Room of Fear where Naegi found out about this, she plans on attempting on being more honest and seeing where things go from there. She's probably going to end up pushing Yuuri away in that regard because of it and potentially crying to the network sometime this month in the aftermath depending on what happens. That's all I have planned for her right now, really.
Future Developments: In terms of character development, a lot of it got covered in the novels in terms of her trust issues, but since she's in another world with a lot of weird things she's learning how to balance things all over again and try to get out of her shell. It's difficult, but attempts are being made. I want her to have friends that she can confide in instead of keeping all of her emotions in to the point where they're just bursting out as emotional reactions with no explanation and her refusing to talk about them because she doesn't exactly have anybody to talk to.
I also want her to work on furthering technology at some point, but we'll see.
Shipping/Romance: For now, nope. I'm actually in the midst of plotting
Inaba's demisethings out to see if she'll tell her current boyfriend the truth about her relationship with him so I'd prefer nothing in terms of romantic relationships at the moment.Seeking: Friends - especially of the female variety, but I won't say no to more male friends, either! A lot of Inaba's CR dropped so she's kind of lonely and doesn't know a lot of people. It probably doesn't help that she tends to distance herself and is having relationship problems. That's a thing.
Offering: Inaba is a bit reclusive but she's trying her best to open up to more people and be more helpful. She's the analytical type and is also someone who snarks quite a bit and can troll when she feels like it. Inaba also worries a lot about those whom she gets close to and is a rather good friend overall. Not to mention that she enjoys theorizing things. It's fun. She's also good with computers and I definitely want to do more tech-based stuff with her, too.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: I'd rather not have Inaba die at the moment, but I'm pretty much open to anything else.

For those of you that are not canon familiar, please tell me what you think is happening:
Mion Sonozaki
Canon: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - she's from Matsuribayashi-hen, so if you're only Steam-release familiar and you'd like to avoid spoilers, let me know!
Brief Personality: Mion herself is the definition of a loud, rowdy teenage girl who tries to act like a boy but isn't actually one. At least, that's how she acts outwardly. On the inside, Mion is actually rather girly - she likes cute clothes, dolls, things you'd imagine a girl would like - but she tries her best not to show that. She's also the daughter of yakuzas and also the heir of the Sonozaki family which is One The Big Three in the town, but that doesn't matter here, so she will kick everyone's ass.
Appearance: Mion tends to wear her green hair in a ponytail most of the time - if she has her hair down, it's when she's about to go to sleep or if she's pretending to be her sister (who actually left recently, so she's Upset about it). Physically, people might notice that she's actually pretty well toned for her age and her chest is rather large... she probably has F cups. Also this will be happening less once Mion can get access to waterproof makeup to cover it up, but she also has a large oni tattoo on her back.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Primarily slice of life! Although I'm definitely not opposed to adventures, either.
Current Activities/Developments: So Mion is the president of the Otherworlder's Games Club that she holds quite a bit - the logs themselves are bimonthly, but feel free to handwave any other meetings, as Mion would definitely ICly hold them quite often and on a whim. Other than that, she's dealing with dating Keiichi and not being able to contact her sister.
Future Developments: Obviously I'm planning on having Mion learn Dunamis for game related purposes, but other than that, I do have plans that I can hopefully do with the club - a simplified D&D being something in the works for January (since there won't be a club log this month or December due to holidays).
Shipping/Romance: Mion's dating Keiichi and that's most likely not going to change anytime soon.
Seeking: I hate to be that person, but for Mion I'm open to anything! Friends, enemies, rivals, what have you.
Offering: First of all: Mion is a yakuza princess heiress who will kick your ass both literally and in games. She's good at them. Mion is also Weird because she refers to herself as oji-san (Uncle) or Old Man Mion and does a bit of crude jokes although she's trying to tone it down because she's dating. She's also a very good friend that will stick by your side and will even literally Die For You, too.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: ACTUALLY NOTHING feel free to fuck me up if you want, just ask first.
