Got some mini events for everyone

opportunitycostsHey guys! So as mentioned in Alvin's post, there are two potentially large jobs he's taking on. Since IC threading can be slower, I thought I should make an OOC post for quicker sign-ups. Those that will be active in either party should still tag his post, but we can at least go ahead and establish OOCly who will be in it for better organization.
Hunt for the cat! Reward: 100,000 sylvs
For the cat search one, I plan on making a large open mingle-type log where people can assist either by having random "I THINK I SAW IT OVER THERE!" passer-by threads as well as for just joining in the hunt in general. Depending on how many people are involved, I'll divvy you up into 2-member teams selected by RNG. I will also pre-select through RNG who will actually find the cat. Just so no one will feel gypped, everyone will get an equal share, though those who actually go out to try and search for the cat will receive more. We may end up fudging the amount depending how horrible the math is. (That and no one really cares too much right? Right.)
So for signing up, please respond to THIS THREAD with the following info:
Porring Slayer. Reward: 50,000 sylvs
Now because I'm an evil mod who likes to mess with her players and bring chaos into her worlds, this Porring quest is going to be very interesting. In what way you ask? Why, because after taking enough damage the Porring is going to explode into 20-30 little porrings and "invade" the city.
But don't worry! It's not a rehash of Attack of the Slime. For those familiar with Ragnarok Online, you may recall the cute blob monsters called porings. Yes, the Porring is a giant rip and basically would fall into that family. But just so you can get an idea of what happens when you get a lot of little porrings in a small area, it looks like this. Now it won't be that bad in game. Verens is a large city and it's only a fairly small number of porrings when you look at it on a large scale. In addition, the small porrings will actually be very friendly and cute and will just want to eateverything candy.
So as a bonus twist, characters can actually adopt a porring! Look at them, why wouldn't you. They will come in a variety of the following colors: pink, green, orange, yellow, blue, and purple. Once adopted they will be loyal pets,eat all your trash help collect things, and just be a cute blob. This is their smallest form so they will not separate any further. Rejoining however...well let's hope they never have reason to (even if you might ask why it happened in the first place I just give you a 
).
Those of the Tales franchise can try to make gels out of them, but they will cry and scream and why would you do that (no they are not used to make apple gels).
So for this one, comment to THIS THREAD with the following information:
Like the Cat Hunt, there will be an open mingle log for everyone to freak out and then go "awww" at the porrings when they hit the city.
Dates
I do not have any specific date planned for either of these. The dance is on the 14th and I don't want to overwhelm everyone. So tentative dates are Cat Hunt on 10/17 and Porring Invasion on 10/21. For those who are joining the hunting party, we can either handwave it to focus on the "Oh crap they're loose" aftermath or just set up our own log sometime earlier for it. I'm cool with either!
