it doesn't help that the game timeline is super accelerated compared to history, historically takakage died at 64 but his game counterpart cut that to 29

and don't even get me started in family politics that is a mess even without timeline compression

SOBS I had to do a ton of research and it took me a month to hammer out a coherent timeline

tldr his dad got him shafted into another clan and he basically stayed there and got adopted by someone else for political reasons and there was hostility and he had to navigate politics at the age of nine

and then tons of other things happened and in the end his biological dad motonari passed away and all the clan head responsibilities fell on him

you have a nineteen year old trying to run three clans and fighting a war

it's not easy
