— PLAYER INTRODUCTIONS: APRIL —

Hey everyone! We request that everyone who has just joined the game to comment to this entry for your introduction. This is to prevent the community from getting over spammed and reduce clutter.

Feel free to format your introduction however way you want. Just be sure include your name, character(s), and any preferred method of contact.

We will try to update this entry with a directory of sorts linking to every player's threads. This should also help castmates find each other easier as we will also include character information.

That's about it—say hello and meet new faces!

HECK YEAH!

Let's both be the very best at being distrusting, paranoid nutjobs, because what could go wrong, right? Also I need to decide whether Bobby would've heard all about the downfall of the great Gavin who is now in solitary, or whether he's blissfully ignorant and will have the impression that Kristoph is a Genuinely Nice Guy. I dunno, what do you think?

Oh, that is a question, isn't it. Hm.

My general stance on it really just takes two things into consideration, those being:

1. I both can and am totally willing to roll with either.
and
2. It's generally a bad idea to ask my stance on anything RP-wise unless you're willing to go full shenanigans, because my answer is literally always "...okay but which amuses us more."

But in the interest of pretending to be a serious RPer for a moment - given that he's endgame, I can totally roll with either, given that he's already been in Solitary for some time - it won't screw me in terms of playability if people know the status quo as it's been for half a year as he's concerned, basically. So essentially, whichever makes it easier on you/whichever you want to play with.

I mean he also kind of caused that whole Dark Age of the Law nonsense that he actually does not know about at this point so I wouldn't be surprised if people know about that little, uh, legal faux pas there

...oops?

Hey now, I'm all for the "which amuses us more" approach because, well, why wouldn't we pick that one, right?

What's also interesting to take into account is that Kristoph was a well-known lawyer for more than seven years, so it's quite possible that he would've worked a few cases where Bobby was in charge of the investigation. Plus, I'm sure the rumors of what happened would've gone all over the criminal affairs department. Which means that any detective (or spy committing identity theft harhar) worth their salt would have found out about it. ...Of course, this is Fool Bright we're talking about, so even if the Phantom knows it, Bobby might just flake out on remembering why Kristoph 'is no longer in the lawyer scene'.

If he is aware, though, he might end up trying to take responsibility for Kristoph to some degree because
1) This guy's a death row inmate from his world, so keeping a close eye on him would be the just thing to do.
2) He has a reputation to uphold here.

...You know, the horrifically stupid thing about going that route is the fact that it would make Fulbright the, like

one person Kristoph has dealt with

over the last several days

that is actually doing his damn job properly

and that is really really sad. Do you know how sad that is? It's sad.

But I am totally fine for things going that way, if that's what you would prefer! It would be an interesting dynamic to play with on both ends, surely - granted, I won't say Bobby's not going get sassed if he tries to take direct responsibility for him, because he's pretty sure there has been such a shift in jurisdiction with relation to the crimes committed that the point is more than a little mooted (and the whole thing sort of strikes him as a case of "what the hell are your priorities even" anyway)...but then, if he's not being passive-aggressive to somebody then we should probably be preparing for the end times, let's not lie to ourselves.

I knew coming into a DD cast was going to lend itself to a given degree of trainwreck, so I am of the opinion that the trainwreck should be brought as is deemed appropriate by said existing cast; I suppose the question is exactly what Fulbright deems necessary in terms of keeping an eye on him.

Hilariously enough, the first thing coming to mind is shackles with tasers built into them, but... Honestly, even Simon got some incredibly lenient treatment while he was here in Emp. Bobby only stopped by to check on him a couple times a week and other than that, he was pretty much left up to his own devices. We could go the same route here. In fact, the general unspoken consensus so far is that 'as long as a known criminal doesn't actually commit any crimes here, there's nothing we can do about them'. Bobby's all for rehabilitation and instilling justice in a person's heart, so he'd rather focus on having people like Kristoph see this place as a second chance than harp on what happened in the past.

...In fact, he should probably just start some sort of justice course to try and inspire the hell out of people like Kristoph, Yomiel and Creed Graphite (who is on his way to becoming the new Simon Blackquill). Not that any of them would bother to show up.

In that case, that is both entirely fine and...admittedly I nearly choked on drink because the mental image of him trying to rehab the shit out of the guy is absolutely hilarious to me, um.

The only mental image I can produce right now is this. What a fine basis for CR!

Hey, as long as there aren't taser shackles we're doing pretty well, tbh!

That's true! And unlike Palaeno, Bobby actually has a spine. Also he's too thick to grasp passive aggression.
