About that post of Gwen's

So, last month I asked the Mods about the magitech that was found in the ruins and mentioned in the middle of the month info post. They gave the good old modly thumbs up to a group going in and researching it, which is exactly what Gwen is intending doing.

If there's a big group that wants to help Gwen will probably suggest splitting into two (or more) teams and working in shifts. I'm assuming that this will be something that will be going on over the course of several months though since I know all characters involved will have other things that they'll be doing throughout the months.

If anyone who wants their characters involved could sign up here as well as commenting to Gwen's post that would be awesome organizationally. Once we have the group/groups organized and decided I'll contact the mods and let them know. They'll let us know how to proceed and what we'll find out from there.

Well, I'd love to jump in and get involved. Definitely could use to get involved in something with being new and all. Creed has plenty of knowledge on magitech because that is the basis for technology where he came from and he's even invented a few types. It just will be fun to deal with his not so pleasant personality.

I'll be commenting on Gwen's post shortly as well since it did pique his interest.

Gwen would definitely appreciate someone with good knowledge on magitech coming along. She's new to it herself and trying to learn all she can. She's also used to difficult personalities so it's all good.

Well, Charm wants to know about the magitech, but she doesn't want to work with Gwen to find out. Problem?

They're cannonly negative CR, so it makes sense that they wouldn't want to work together. There are other ways that Charm could learn about magitech. Since they're both in-cannon magic wielders of the same variety there's bound to be a bit of a clash, but there's also always more then one way to go about things.

Plus Charm is smart and resourceful and manipulative. She's sure to find a way to learn what she needs to.

Yeah, I was thinking something along those lines: wait to see who Gwen picks to help her, single out the weakest links, and manipulate information out of them. >:)

That sounds very Charmcaster-like. Though fair warning, now that Gwen knows she's here she's going to be giving 'her people' (aka the people she knows and talks to) a heads up about Charm's personality and that she's bad news.

Estelle is completely useless with technology, but she wants answers about this place. So possibly, if they need escorts or something, she'd be interested in tagging along just to help out!

Gwen plans to post the results of their findings if that helps at all. She also wouldn't be against anyone doing library research on the lore (if they can fins any) and contributing that way.

Ahaha... If you put Estelle in a library, you'd just get drool and face imprints on your research. XD I'm sorry, she'll probably be one of those people who listens for the results, but isn't much help in the end.
