Welcome to Empatheias' plotting and CR meme! Please fill out the form below with all of the necessary information. Then go forth and reply to others, plot, make friends, have shenanigans!

The Plot and CR meme will be posted on the first of each month, and will be posted once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. We highly encourage everyone to check the post from time to time, even if a week has passed. You never know what kind of opportunities you could be missing!

INSTRUCTIONS

• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.

• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

Daniel Kanegem

Character Name: Daniel Kanegem
Canon: OC
Brief Personality: Quiet but snarky, tends to be pensive most of the time. He has a temper that'll rise up, particularly things on behalf of others. Has PTSD, but has methods in place to deal with it better than he has in the past.
Appearance: He tends to wear an engulfing black cloak with red interior, as well as gauntlets with hidden blades. If the gauntlets are off then his intricate forearm-sleeve tattoos are visible. Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Mostly slice of life, with some smaller adventure. Daniel's best friend just dropped so he's feeling pretty alone (see more on that below), and still being relatively new he needs a bigger CR pool. All the same Daniel's used to activity so he's going to be looking for things to do.
Current Activities/Developments: I've been on hiatus so first, just catching up. But like I said above, Daniel's best friend, Bridge Nocturne, just dropped and he's... not taking it well. His mood's unstable at the best of times and, coupled with a werewolf form he's only got 85% control over, he's going to lose control around the middle of the month and have an "outside the moon" change. Several people can either fight him or try and talk to him, but there'll be one thread only where he'll actually be defeated. Not killed, but just taken down. So anyone willing to take any part in that can hit me up here.
Future Developments: Other than that, just trying to get him better settled into the game. He has one job already but will be taking on a second, once I decide what it'll be (currently looking at candy shop or Sweetie Pies). Like I said above, also going to be expanding his CR and just getting him to a better place.
Shipping/Romance: Back home, Daniel's part of an open poly relationship, but I'm not above shipping him with anyone here, whether it goes both ways or not.

Seeking: Friends, for the most part (people willing to befriend his dog Baron also count). Additionally, anyone who likes werewolves.
Offering: He's a very helpful person and is a trained warrior, so anyone who needs a bodyguard or fighter, he's at your call. He also tries to be supporting of anyone needing a more comforting sort of help, given his past experiences.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: At the moment, basically anyone who'd kill him. Otherwise you're good to go.

Scrooge McDuck

Character Name: Scrooge McDuck
Canon: DuckTales 1987 and Disney comics
Brief Personality: Richest Duck in Empatheias not that it's a high bar right now, on his way to Richest Person. Miserly, stingy, thrifty, ornery, jerkass of a tightwad, but with a grandfather complex a mile wide, and a soft heart and kind demeanor that's hidden much shallower than he thinks it is. Good for mentoring and adventure, oftentimes dealt out together.
Appearance: He's a duck. A smartly dressed duck, but a duck all the same.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Coming back from hiatus so right now, SoL stuff is easiest. There's a couple adventure things he's signing up for on the Task Board, but for the most part right now just looking for more home-based stuff.
Current Activities/Developments: These past few months Scrooge has been building a new place to live, an old Scottish castle-type building outside of town, and it's nearing completion. He'll need help moving his things to it, though people might catch him moving his money himself. Additionally the Gold Pan now has a yard for parties/meetings/training/etc, and there'll be a post about that... sometime.
Future Developments: Finding people to live with him in the castle Continuing as he is. Investing in businesses, gaining more money, expanding CR, etcetc.
Shipping/Romance: IF YOU WANT TO?

Seeking: Anyone willing to put up with a cranky old duck who's likely about to get crankier.
Offering: He is Everybody's Uncle, so if you need a more paternal figure in your life, seek out Scrooge. Additionally he's an old hand at adventuring, as mentioned above, so if anyone wants to either buy ask for his help, or just listen to some old stories, then there's that too.
Not Interested In/Avoiding: Anyone who'll kill him.

Lol I'm so surprised and intrigued by Scrooge McDuck — I'd totes be down for more CR. I was happy when you commented for him to be scared by Ickis and I'm looking forward to continuing that thread! (Sorry for the late response to it, tho, eep...!)

Honestly seeing Ickis around here is such a treat, he was my favorite when I was a kid and I'm totally eager for more CR. I can't wait to see what kind of reaction the scare gets out of Scrooge "Seen It All, Done It All, and I've Got Three Cubic Acres of Cash to Show For It" McDuck. It's entirely likely they'll make the official weirdest friendship afterwards, too.

(And don't worry about the speed, it's fine! Goodness knows I'm garbage at timely replies at times, and I backtag until forever anyway~ )

Haha, yay!!! I wanted to bring a little blast of spooky nostalgia for Halloween (and beyond, lol) so I'm glad people seem to remember him well enough! The show was on the outskirts of memory for me, but it was my faaav when I was a kid, and I remember drawing Ickis fan art as a very young child hahaha. My friends and I got nostalgic (and stoned lol, goes hand in hand) one night recently and decided to pull up old cartoons at stupid o'clock. We all fell in love with Aaahh!!! Real Monsters! all over again and binged the whole series in like a week or two! And it inspired... this. Lol. Such a good, dark, weird, mature, hilarious show. Excited to make all kinds of funny relationships for this neurotic little monster who has randomly stolen my heart, quite by accident, haha.

Nostalgic figures unite! I know this feeling well, Scrooge just smacked me out of NOWHERE one day, I binged DuckTales and the comics, and I haven't looked back. This whole thing oughta be great.

Soooo Sync told Asch about Scrooge and Asch is now intensely curious.

Also kind of jealous, but mostly just curious.

He already intends to go visit Sync at work, but I think he'd also want to come sometime when Sync isn't there to have a look at Sync's parental duck. Would you be up for something like that sometime?

Sure, this sounds great! Scrooge meeting people familiar with Sync should be interesting, to say the least.

I'm not sure on the timing yet, but I think it makes more sense for the thread with Sync first in case that has any significant impact, so I'll let you know?
