Hey everyone, Eon here! Takakage's mun.
A while back Lu Meng's mun (San) suggested to me that maybe I could make some sort of open post advertising an IC book club! It'll be the sort of gathering where people meet up for some cake, tea, and discuss their favourite books. It doesn't just have to be fiction, it can be non-fiction, and for all sorts of genres! We can have a sub-category for girls who like romance novels, people who eagerly follow thrillers, and maybe a poetry or cookery club too.
The books themselves can be books from the characters' homeworlds, or Verens books that are clearly ripoffs of RL books. Fifty Shades of Gravy, a book discussing the merits of various sauces, Parry Horter, the legendary tale of a young apprentice who was awakened to his secret power on influencing emotions and going to a school for people like him - anything and everything goes.
If there's enough receptiveness, I'd like to also maybe make it a monthly mingle sort of thing, for CR opportunities and exchanging of information/gossip. The premise is a meeting based off books, but what the characters talk about can certainly diverge from the topic. Of course, it's just a preliminary idea - if you guys have any suggestions or advice, please tell me! I'd like to make it fun and engaging for everyone.
Thank you!
