» EMOTION TRACKER UPDATE

As always, it's kind of early to tell where the Emotion Tracker is going.

As a reminder, this is just a "mid-month" check to give everyone an idea of where the Emotion Tracker stands. If you haven't had a chance to submit your threads, don't worry! You can still submit and have it count for the final tally at the end of the month.

Woah! What happened to you guys?! There’s still another two weeks(ish) in the month, so things could swing back positive… or will it go even more negative? Only time will tell.


» ON THE MODDING FRONT

Probably the most important information we need to share with you is this. Don’t worry though, everything is fine! However, Laena has had to take an unexpected extended hiatus through April for health reasons, which has caused a bit of shuffling as far as planned events go. Our combined mod/plot team will be stepping in to provide an alternate event to what was mentioned at the beginning of the month. This adventure was requested by Reena, but it will be open to all as a low key world building and lore expanding event. It should be ready to give everyone plenty of time to participate the last week and a half or so of the month! The previously planned events will come back around once we have Laena with us again.

And yes, do not worry. We still have plenty in the works for things in April (INCLUDING the flower festival) which we will talk about more then!

Wow! The game has grown so much that our taken list could no longer handle everyone at once. As a result, we’ve now split the taken list into two parts, for canons A-M and N-Z. All links to the taken list should now be updated to include both, and they also link to each other. If there are any instances we missed, please let us know!

Winnie's power includes being able to pull possessing souls/spirits/etc. from people and exorcise them. Would she be able to use this power on the possessing greed...spirit...thingies in the burial chamber/the people they possess?

Can Eikichi use his Contact skills on the spirits and or the lions (basically P2 has this ability where the Persona users can speak to the demons instead of fighting them and then getting either items or getting them to leave or be afraid, etc.)

I'm okay with anything including "Eikichi's gonna look pretty stupid before they attack him" so let me know what's possible!

Eikichi's attempts will be completely unsuccessful with the lions. He may cause some of the specters to pause for a short time, but most of them will give no response and attack anyway. There is a small chance of him being able to direct the spirits elsewhere, though they will be very belligerent and focused on keeping the treasures for themselves.

Mostly just a treasure-related question, but would weaponry be apart of the possible loot?

Just wanted to ask because this would be an awesome way for Shinji to nab some kind of weapon - since in the game he often uses double battle axes, large hammers, and believe it or not a bus stop sign.

Unfortunately, no. Firstly, these items are being removed to be studied and taken care of. Secondly, even if Shinji managed to tuck a battle axe or massive stop sign (jeez, man, what did the stop sign do to you?) in his pocket/coat/something something sneaky theivery-- the items are way too fragile to be used as actual weapons. He might have better luck finding a PC good at weapon smithing or black market info to help arm himself!

Along the lines of contacting the lions, I'm planning on Allura trying and failing to communicate with them via the amulets. Would be able to feel anything back necessarily (like being able to sense that the lions DO have some sort of limited consciousness even if they're constructs) or would she feel nothing at all, like if she were trying to contact a toaster?

Ryn already answered you, but to make it official, Allura can try but the communication she gets back would just be blobby, patchy bursts of emotion rather than anything directly interpretable or intelligent!

Can symbols of any Arehtei be found inside the burial chamber?

Also, can anything small be made to grow around the farm/the tower? As nothing grows outside Shaarnath whether naturally or forced, it's a small test Red would conduct since there's obvious plant life growing around those parts. He wants to see if forcing something to grow via emotions would result in nothing or just take a few minutes.

Red is certainly welcome to try to get something to grow, and he might have some small success! If left alone to grow naturally anything planted would likely not grow. However, if he concentrated with dunamis/emotions he might see the very barest beginnings of growth but it would take a lot of concentrated effort! But without constant feeding of emotion energies the plant probably wouldn't last long.

You didn't take long at all!

He would focus and give it some time, since attempts in the past has taken him up to 1-5 minutes. Does 2-3 to get to a bud, 1 minute to die sound fair? (He's gotten into the habit of timing these things. rip.)

Also, I'm assuming that attempting to do the same outside/closer to Shaarnath would still be a no go?

I had a question about Arehtei symbols too. The books are said to have symbols, but I don't know if there would be a familiar symbol, such as an Arehtei symbol, or the Arehtei symbol on any other surface inside the chamber. Would anything like this? Or just a symbol that seems to be repeating inside the room (on the floor, altar, etc).

2 to 3 and then 1 to wither sounds about right, go with that! You're also right about your assumption, nothing will grow outside of the immediate oasis area, just like anywhere else in this domain.

The symbols on the book will not be one that's recognizable for now. It's not one that has been seen before. However, Red might notice that the same symbol has been carved into the base of the altar.

Is it possible for those possessed by the spectres to use Dunamis? Asking because otherwise, Ayumu isn't going to put up much of a struggle as a possessed, noodle that he is, and I need to know how any threads will go.

The possessed have access to all of their usual skills; they're simply being influenced by extreme amounts of greed and selfishness directed towards the treasures in the chamber.
