Player Plot - The Broken Turnabout [Part 2]

[aka "Pet Plot", "Chisa Plot", "Trial Plot" or whatever else people want to call it]

I know I said I'd post again next month, but I'm going out on a limb and posting now because this plot has evolved! Magnificently so!

Revised Premise

The original premise was Chisa being the defendant and being found guilty, but due to the difficulty of making things less stacked against her and the appearance of an excellent defendant candidate, the premise of this plot has been revised to having Abi from the canon Akatsuki no Yona as the defendant. Chisa will still be found guilty of the crimes, but yes, this is the major change to it.

The Actual Plot

As for how it will actually go down, the series of killings and injuries will be seemingly random, and can be attributed to being an accident, as Verens isn't exactly wyvernproof (for the wyverns, at least). Eventually, suspicion will be thrown towards the local poachers as well, but once they're found not guilty of it, it will be once more attributed to just, well, accidents and a task board task for the next month will most likely be born out of this to help make Verens a more wyvern-friendly place.

Things will heat up around February, and as a result, the Enforcers will start looking into another angle, i.e. someone else might have caused it. They'll start bringing in suspects for questioning throughout the month.

The situation will get messy a little around the end of February as this is when the PC pet killings will mostly happen, and the last of the killings will happen at the beginning of March, when three wyverns are attacked at The Spa (which will serve as the crime scene). Abi's arrest will follow shortly, and afterwards, further investigation will follow and the trial roughly a week afterwards.

TL;DR, this will be extremely subtle until things blow up at the end of February and at the beginning of March. And of course, the investigation/trial proper then.

A Request To All PCs

This plot is meant to be lowkey at first, and subtle until the climax during late February and early March. OOC-ly, we all know the general flow and how it ends, but IC-ly, no one should suspect a thing until then. Chisa's very subtle in her canon and even pulled the wool over her bestfriends's eyes so to speak, so IC-ly, I don't think anyone would really suspect her at least until the investigation/trial proper.

If, despite this knowledge, your character is still the type to, well, suspect foul play, then OOC-ly, I'd like to request that PCs keep any early (we are talking January/February early) suspicions to close CR. At least until the worse of the attacks roll around. If you're uncertain about anything in this regard, please ask me first! This is mainly out of concern for those who don't want to get involved with this plot and/or wish to opt out of it.
