They'll be around, no worries. Sadly, I'm a bit canon blind to Ezra's part of the Star Wars saga.

Ezra's part in the Star Wars saga can pretty much be summed up as "Meanwhile, in another part of the galaxy where no one is looking..."

So yeah, being canon blind to him is fine! I'm perfectly happy to establish him as a character on my own. o/
