Hello! My name's Val and I'm new here, bringing in the kid ex-assassin Killua Zoldyck from Hunter x Hunter fame!

He's kind of a brat with a bad attitude, but he's really a good kid at heart who would do anything for his friends--even to a fault. He's very smart and battle savvy, but he's still learning! He was also sheltered his entire life and taught nothing but how to kill, so he's still learning how to be a normal kid too. I took him from the Greed Island arc, towards the end during the Bomber fight.

I'm totally canon blind to Hunter x Hunter, but Killua sounds quite interesting! I've got a bit of a soft spot for kids who have been trained to seriously kick ass, but aren't so good at actually being normal and trying to figure that out.

Anyway, my name is Straya and the only character I have here at Emp is this grouchy wind seraph. I may have to throw Dezel at Killua to see how that goes...

Thank you! It's nice to meet you too Straya. I have the same soft spot...it's why I ended up playing him in the first place, honestly. Killua still has a lot to learn about friendship and respecting his own self worth.

I'm canonblind to your canon as well, but I always love playing off grouchy characters, so bring it on!

Given Dezel's current situation of being a former loner who's trying to not be so much of a loner anymore (and being awkward about it a lot of the time), that could make for some interesting CR. (Though there's a fair deal about Dezel that is spoilery, so do let me know if that's an issue for you!)

My assumption is that Dezel won't be visible to Killua, though, but you can correct me if I'm wrong. Typically, seraphim can't be seen or heard by humans, not unless said humans have a high level of spiritual insight/resonance. Here at Emp, sharing an alignment with a seraph will automatically fix that issue, but Dezel is with Elios, SO. Yeah. Anyone can communicate with seraphim using telepathy, though, so there's been a lot of that going on with the mostly invisible part of the ToZ cast, here.

That's a tricky one :|a I wanna say since Killua knows how to use Nen which is a manipulation of aura/your spiritual and life energy, he should be able to see Dezel...maybe when he uses Gyo? (I.e. concentrating aura in your eyes so you see other people's aura / invisible aura-made objects). Or he could possibly sense his presence otherwise, if he gives off...energy that's similar? Up to you though. If Killua sensed something suspicious he could use Gyo and then see him or something.

I'm not familiar with ToZ so that's just my best guess. I have some friends who are familiar with both, so I could possibly ask them.

Seraphim are sort of like spirits that have one foot in the mortal realm, or at least that's sort of how I understand it (Zestiria as a canon gets a little iffy here and there with explanations on some things), so you'd think a spiritually based aura would be at thing with them. It's possible Killua might sense the presence of seraphim or maybe even see some kind of dim outline or...something, either normally or when he uses that Gyo ability. Hmm.

The mods here have been really cool about letting those of us in the ToZ cast get visibility issues worked out among ourselves and with players of other canons, though, so we can always talk this over some and get it figured out!

From my perspective, I think Killua only seeing him when using Gyo would make the most sense at least. Whether that's only an outline or the full body, I'd say is up to you/your cast.

I'd love to talk it over more, though! I figure it would have to be consistent across the cast, and I don't want to step on anybody's toes by assuming he can or can't see them. At the same time, it actually sounds like a fun thing to figure out.

Anyway, hello, name's Nea and I play this brat / merciless killing machine / actually a really nice girl to some known as Mikasa Ackerman from Attack On Titan and then I also have an actually always friendly pink magical girl, Madoka Kaname from Madoka Magica.

You definitely should...with the dub airing now and the manga off hiatus, there's hardly a better time! I'm not familiar with AoT, but Mikasa sounds awesome--and Madoka! Oh man, they both sounds like they'd be a lot of fun to play off of.

I never read/watch anything from HxH, but from the description...him and Emizel could maybe be friends. Both being jerkass brats that mean well and all that. Sounds interesting!

Ohh sounds like it could be fun! I imagine they'd grate on each other, at least at first. Killua tends to butt heads with people a lot at first.
