Puzzle Regroup!

Hey guys, Laena here! Piggy backing off the Areta research team, it's come to my attention that there's a bit uncertainty as to who all is actually in the puzzle group, particularly since more may have recently joined in. Since there's also been some changes to the initial working doc and I'd like to have a working dialogue with everyone, I request two things!

  1. Check in. Everyone who is part of the group comment to this post. You have until end of Saturday, April 23 to do so. While others can still join in, the ones who comment will be considered the core group and will be responsible for sharing any information discussed with everyone else.

  2. Plurk. Friend the mod plurk, [plurk.com profile] simpathis. After the group plurk has formed and the discussions have been had, you can defriend the plurk. (For those who do not know, group plurks can only be made with those who are mutual friends. I cannot add anyone who is not friended to the plurk to the group.) IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PLURK, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Most everything discussed will be transferred onto the document, but I will also forward any other information to you via journal PM. I will be utilizing plurk as it will be faster and easier to spark quick dialogue rather than waiting for edits or comments.

Once everyone's checked in, I will gather everyone on Sunday for discussion and give everything you need. If you could, please indicate what time you will be available on Sunday. I'll try and time the plurk so that most everyone will be available. In addition, I will provide a new working document to incorporate previously addressed concerns. Update: due to recent developments, the plurk may not happen until closer to evening, but fret not, those who are unable to attend will still be in the plurk and have info available.

Should everything go as planned, you guys will probably have the answer by the end of the day or 99.9% close to the answer. So let's go go go!

Yes! Sherlock Holmes will be around to help solve this mystery! (and as an FYI, he's the kind of guy who will improvise by, say, bringing his own mirrors to redirect the beams of light to places they normally wouldn't reach. He's not opposed to cheating the system if he thinks it'll get him results)

Sadly, I have a very limited window of time on sunday when I can be online. I should be able to do some minimal plurking while I'm at work, but I can't type anything too extravagant on my little smartphone.
