Roy dips his chin in acknowledgement. No, on this 'strange island,' he certainly doesn't expect many people to have heard of Amestris. It's both chilling and relieving; it tells him that home is very, very far away but it also says that there were people safe from the machinations of the homunculi. It's good to have a reminder of that.

"Amestris," he says, and he's speaking a bit slowly, "is full of good people, and she has a bright future." Then, he grins lopsidedly and looks askance at Fenris. "Pretty good military, too, if I do say so myself."

Good people there, too. Can't say much for the leadership of late.
