Fenris feels the release of tension, and now he's quite certain that Roy Mustang is a mage, one who's glad of keeping it secret. An apostate, certainly. But there was no hostility from this apostate so far, and Fenris no longer insulted mages on the first meeting, as long as they made no threats to his life or his freedom.

"Amestrian."

So, the country would be called 'Amestria', 'Amestrius' or something of the like. Again, an unknown name. Another proof that this island, and all of their land, are separated by vast distances, indeed. Or worse, they may be accessible, if one wanted to travel between them, only by crossing Fade.

"On this strange island, you probably won't be surprised to hear I don't know of your country. Is it a strong empire or somthing smaller?"

He is slightly curious of those lands he's never heard of, and if he knows anything of soldiers, the ones who fight of their own volition, at least... they do often love to brag. Although this man did not seem a braggart.
