Roxas strikes Lu Meng as a remarkably quiet and thoughtful kid, if a little moody. Lu Meng can't really tell if that's because Roxas is going through his teenage years, or if something bigger is up. The fact that Roxas was counting the days is kinda...striking to Lu Meng. He can't place his finger on it, but there's something about it that's uneasy to him.

He's also noticed that whenever he bumps into Roxas, the kid is always standing at a distance from everyone else, more watching than participating. In a sense he's glad that Roxas and Elize organized the camping trip because that means Roxas is dealing with people and getting to know others and making friends...which is something he's been meaning to ask Roxas about because it seems to Lu Meng that Roxas is kinda always alone, and if he is having issues then it'd be good for Roxas to have someone that he can talk to. Lu Meng will be there for him if he needs him but he suspects that Roxas would probably prefer to speak to someone nearer his age.

All in all Lu Meng appreciates Roxas's introspective personality, if a bit too broody at times. It's very rare to find someone who thinks through things carefully, or who appreciates the simple but beautiful things in life. Like watching the sunset, enjoying the scenery, or even just appreciating each and every day that comes through. He is curious and is concerned about Roxas, but at the same time he doesn't want to push the teen to open up. If he needs someone to talk to, then Lu Meng will be there.
