Is it really April? March felt like it lasted forever. We hope everyone is hanging in there and staying healthy! This month has our usual fun Flower Festival so hopefully that will help lighten things up a bit.

CALENDAR

Going forward, we'll have a mingle log in place of our usual intro logs. Feel free to toplevel and tag into it as we may not have new characters coming in at the usual time each month.

It is officially the season of spring, Zephyras! Flowers are blooming, sun is shining, animals out and about, and pollen is everywhere. Fortunately it's normal pollen, so the worst anyone will suffer is severe allergies.

ACTIVITY CHECK RESULTS

Below are the following who were either removed from the Activity Check or dropped out of the game. The list includes all characters who left the game throughout the month. The following names will also be posted in a visible place within the residential area where most of the characters are residing. This list reflects the names that are also on the wall.

ACTIVITY CHECK UPDATE

Given that the real world situation is continuing to be what it is, April's Activity Check will also be a simple sign in. And as it was last month, anyone who does not sign in during the AC period will be removed from the game.

TRAIN FALLOUT

With the Train defeated, Piphron makes the executive decision to snap it into parts with his claws and dump it in a giant hole, burying and covering it with large rocks. Piphron's domain is still suffering from the train's rampage, so it will need some help to heal and restore it. Fortunately the rocks acquired through the train will help, and Piphron himself is (begrudgingly) appreciative of everyone's efforts.

For now, there doesn't seem to be any additional information on the train's origin or purpose, though Shaarnath's citizens are looking into their battle logs to see if their ancestors have encountered it before. And with Flower Festival on the horizon, some locals have taken to trying to survey the surface to reduce the chances of it being disrupted by another uninvited surprise guest.

FLOWER FESTIVAL

This year's Flower Festival will once again be held in Elios's domain, however it will be in a different location outside of Diateris. Large areas of his domain have flourished thanks to the previous festivals, and there is a certain patch of land that has recently begun to sprout flowers. Elios recalls this to once be a beautiful land rich in different flora and now that it has shown signs of regrowth, he wishes to use the emotions of the festival to help give it a boost.

Thus the festival will be in a new location, and while the themes will be the same, there will be something a little different that will need to be done. The flowers and trees won't be the only things that need to be given "new life."

Also as usual, we will have the annual flower king and queen contest! It'll be our last run so it will extra special For starters, only those who have not won in previous years can be nominated so please look forward to seeing what we've cooked up this year.

Full details will be posted closer to date of the event along with voting for Flower King and Queen.

STATE OF THE AREHTEI

Appointments can still be made with individual Arehtei here, complete with updated player list. Here’s a glimpse of where each of the Arehtei are at right now:

• Aiada - No contact has been established with Aiada for the past month, nor has she been spotted around any of the known territories. While there's some concerns for her health, her mood before her disappearance seemed stable, and the state of her shrine appears healthy.
  
• Daimonia - Having been away searching for a month, Daimonia has returned to check up on the other Arehtei, her city, and the Otherworlders. She'll glide through all the relevant places in turn and spend some time resting in her temple, too, but if anyone seeks her out, it will be obvious just how distracted she is. Later in the month, she'll be hanging around in Elios's domain, soaking up happiness from the Flower Festival prep.
  
• Elios - FLOWER FESTIVAL FLOWER FESTIVAL FLOWER FESTIVAL!!!!!!! Elios will be flying and swooping around Verens excitedly singing about the upcoming Flower Festival, spreading all the love and good cheer to anyone he believes needs it—which is everyone. Do not be alarmed if stray white, sparkling embers suddenly descend upon anyone, they are harmless and will just make everyone feel a little friendlier than usual. Of course, some may feel a little more possessive towards the ones they love, desires to shower them with romantic gifts and gestures increasing as the month progresses. But it's fine, totally fine.
  
• Peromei - Outside of a brief bout of oozing sulk upon the discovery that Piphron will send his crab minions to the Otherworlders for help before he will go to the other Arehtei, Peromei is doing well, happily preoccupied with her plans for her new home. Her attachment to Verens and the people in it remains, however, and she can often be seen flying over the city in her proper horsedragon form. While she pauses from time to time to sigh at the place where the Memory Tree once was, her hope for what's coming keeps her from faltering for long.
  
• Piphron - Piphron spends April quietly recuperating from his ordeal. If anyone bothers to come speak with him, he seems to have a slightly improved attitude and may even go so far as to utter the 't' word (thanks). It remains to be seen how much he was truly impacted by this event, but at least he doesn't seem to be in imminent danger of any serious complications.
  
• Sosyne - After a grumble along the lines of “Elios and his fucking flower festival. What a pain in the ass,” Sosyne has departed the island for parts unknown. Possibly not too far off though as she's still receptive to telepathic communication and will return to handle any regains. As far as conversation goes, she's a little more willing to talk than she was last month, but still seems agitated about something besides the flower festival.
  
• Thras - Following recent events, Thras is worried about Piphron and will be making visits to check on him regularly. While he'll still be available to receive visitors in between, his presence in Shaarnath and overseeing Ephyria restoration efforts will be spotty until later in the month. He also seems to have developed some skittishness regarding crabs, though he will loudly deny it if pointed out.
