Mid-Month Announcement: March

— MID-MONTH ANNOUNCEMENT: MARCH —

Hello everyone! This month seems to be flying past, but we hope it’s been good to all of you so far. We’re here with your usual calendar and Emotion Tracker updates, as well as a little about the follow-up to last month’s event! March’s mid-month announcement is a short one, but please take a few moments to read everything below the cut.

OOC/IC CALENDAR

OOC CALENDAR:

• 3/18: Test Drive.
  
• 3/20: Event.
  
• 3/25: Activity Check starts; Reservations open.
  
• 3/31: Activity Check end.

IC CALENDAR:

• 3/15: Theasthai. Trial of Style. Fashion design is a form of art all its own! Local designers will be submitting their work to be judged, but amateurs or designers from other cities are invited to put their work on display, as well. In addition, those organizing the event are looking for volunteers to work as models or assist in judging. If you’ve ever wanted to do a little turn on the catwalk, now is your chance.
  
• 3/31: Verens. Notus Thanksgiving. There are only a few days left in Notus, and the cityfolk wish to celebrate the remains of it with a bonfire at the plaza. There will be soup and other snacks!
  

EMOTION TRACKER UPDATE

As always, it's kind of early to tell where the Emotion Tracker is going.

As a reminder, this is just a mid-month check to give everyone an idea of where the Emotion Tracker stands. If you haven't had a chance to submit your threads, don't worry! You can still fill out the survey here.

Not much in the way of submissions yet this month, but there’s still plenty of time for things to change, especially with the second part of last month’s event on the horizon. At the moment, things are hovering around well-balanced, but you never know how that balance might be upset...

UPCOMING EVENT

When the crystal network was stabilized at the end of last month, the compass meant to assist in the location of valuable Arehtei artifacts also gained stability, after several days of spinning out of control. It’s taken some time for researchers to pinpoint the exact location it indicated, but coordinates have been found, and the emotional energy signature appears to fall within Piphron’s spectrum. Though general preparations have been made throughout the month with the expectation of an expedition, with a location in mind, arrangements for transport are being made and Otherworlder volunteers will be outfitted appropriately for the journey to retrieve the artifact in question.

The expedition is currently expected to started on March 20th, and will take participating characters away from Verens and the island for the duration. Further details will be included in an OOC post a few days before the log goes live in order to allow for coordination and plotting!
