— PLOT AND CR WITH ME —

We've decided to combine the plotting post and the CR meme into one general meme. It will still be posted on the first of each month, but we will be boosting this meme once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. Do check the post again even if it's been a week!

This post is for anyone to use for plotting throughout the month, and generating or suggesting more CR. However, this is separate from any future event plotting posts.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.

• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

SUBJECT LINE: CHARACTER NAME <b>Your Name:</b> <b>Preferred Contact:</b> <b>Character Name:</b> <b>Canon:</b> <b>Brief Personality:</b> (this doesn't have to be long, list some of the more interesting character personality traits that set them apart from the crowd!) <b>Appearance:</b> (Is there anything striking about their appearance? Strange limbs, features or other such things that would stick out? Even fashion choice! Please don't use images here, though you can link to them in your description) <b>World Type:</b> (What's their world like? Again, you don't have to write a novel here! Is it a modern world, futuristic, something more fantasy or perhaps even vaguely steampunk or even post apocalyptic? Are there other unique parts about the world? Does everyone have glowing skin or innate magical abilities?) <b>Arehtei Alignment:</b> (this might not be important to everyone, but it's interesting to know. Not to mention we have several characters where CR is dependent on alignment) <b>Established CR:</b> (Sometimes it's fun to meet new characters using the "friends of friends" method. Who is this character often seen with? Negative and positive CR are possible jumping off points!) <b>Interests:</b> (What are they most likely to be found doing? Hobbies are a good start.) <b>Slice of Life or ADVENTURE:</b> (Empatheias is a good mix of both, and it's not always an either or thing. What kinds of thing are you interested in doing with this character? Are they the type to be happy developing a life in Empatheias or has the wanderlust set in? Are they more likely to be involved in the overarching plot and exploration? Do they want to go exploring?) <b>Current Developments:</b> (What's your character going through right now? What's gone on in recent past? What are they doing in their day to day life? Are they looking for a job or are they currently in the middle of planning an expedition?) <b>Future Developments:</b> (Where are you wanting to take your character going forward? This could be serious character development, or general slice of life developments! Are they going to pack up and become a nomadic wanderer and explore the world or maybe you want to get them more involved in something else.) <b>What about Emotions?:</b> (What kind of emotions are you wanting your character to work through, for good or for bad. Or maybe your character is interested in focusing their emotional power into Dunamis?) <b>Shipping/Romance:</b> (let's face it, ship happens. in a general sense are your characters interested in romance? something permanent, or a fling or two maybe? Even unrequited love is something that can be fun to play out!) <b>Something Handwaved:</b> (Not everything needs to or can be threaded out. Maybe you're interested in setting up some CR that's going on behind the bigger scenes and sets that we thread out! Listing what you're interested in or looking for here might prompt some interesting CR that you can then build off of more actively!) <b>Looking For:</b> (What kind of CR are you looking for? For anything related to the task board, see the Task Board Recruitment top level.) <b>Not Interested In / Avoiding:</b> (If there's anything you're looking to avoid, list it here! Negative CR, violence, anything too slice of life, etc. the more information you give, the better!) <b>Anything Else:</b> (gifs are fine too.)

Well, I'm totally canonblind to your canon, so you're going to have to elaborate some. Like, how strong is Yang if they're going to be arm-wrestling, for one. But also, generally, what she's like? Like, what's the CR hook here, where do you see this going? :|a

Rofl, sorry I made this comment just before I had to run back to work and...didn't actually elaborate on anything. >.>;

Yang likes challenging guys who look stronger than her, or rather stronger than she appears to be. She's actually deceptively strong because she fights monsters for a living, among other things. Shiro also fits into the wheelhouse of guys she'd think are attractive so extra incentive there for her to show off.

If you're okay with massive spoilers for RWBY I can go into a bit more about Yang and why it'd be kinda hilarious for her to arm-wrestle Shiro but I don't want to spoil anything major if it was a series you were planning on looking into at some point. ^^;

Yang's right arm is also mechanical. Almost in exactly the same way it looks like Shiro's is too (where the prosthetic meets in the upper arm)?

Yang has no qualms about any sort of advantage her prosthetic would give her in a competition, but if Shiro was hung up on fairness, it'd be kind of funny if he challenged her in "mechanical arm" wrestling.
