Plot and CR With Me: September
We've decided to combine the plotting post and the CR meme into one general meme. It will still be posted on the first of each month, but we will be boosting this meme once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. Do check the post again even if it's been a week!
This post is for anyone to use for plotting throughout the month, and generating or suggesting more CR. However, this is separate from any future event plotting posts.
• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.
• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.
• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.
• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

Eleanor Bradley
Canon: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Brief Personality: Eleanor is a kind woman, devoted wife and mother who has had her world turned on her while having to face the hard facts about her (entire) family, a struggle she faces every day with a determined acceptance and a smile that can't meet her eyes.
Appearance: She has long, thick golden-brown hair, usually tied back in a ponytail, and green eyes. She usually wears a scarf around her neck or high collars to cover up a mark from an injury there. Her height is around 5'4, usually with a low heel. She tends to dress in semi-stately outfits that contain some variant of pink or purple.
World Type: Fantasy Germanyish setting in the early 20th century. So tech and things go up to like, 1915, so there are phones, cars, automobiles, but then you have alchemy ("magic") that screws with things in a big way.
Arehtei Alignment: Daimonia
Established CR: Riza Hawkeye (last remaining Amestris standing), Jade Curtiss, Peony, Leia Organa, Han Solo, Kylo Ren, Kevin Regnard, Hibiki, Michelle, Natsume, Fuuka Yamagishi, Kor Meteor and Milla Maxwell to name a few, though there are other connections!
Interests: Crocheting, decorating or anything else involving yarn and other varied crafts (She has a lot of time on her hands). Gardening, especially now that her garden has finally been established with help. Baking/Cooking. Music and ballroom dancing (though that's less obvious unless one has seen her at festivals) And people! She loves looking after people. And parenting.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: She's a noncombatant in every sense of the word, which is unfortunately limiting, but I don't think that should be a deterrant to exploring other options depending on the right circumstances...
Current Developments: Getting back to normalcy after the dream dust fiasco. She's finally catching her breath after all of that, let alone now having had a few months to adjust to being alone again in her house and processing some of that grief.
She's still dealing with a lot of internal baggage; at the end of the day she gives far too much of herself to others, even if it means bearing unnecessary burdens and not dealing with her actual pain. Most of her closer friends have noticed and are frustrated with her bad habits in this regard, so it's a process there. She's still sorting out her own identity beyond what years of marriage had shaped it to be, since she used to define herself by those roles -- happy wife and mother -- and she's lost her bearings on that for a while now, especially with none of her family left in Empatheias. She's become very practiced at avoiding and changing the subject when necessary. Literally her own worst enemy.
Future Developments: ... TL;DR just kind of saying, we'll see what happens here! It's a holding pattern thus far. :|a
Of course, she's extremely externally focused -- if someone needs support or cheering up, she'll go out of her way to make herself emotionally available, and her level of care for others certainly isn't false.
What about Emotions?: She still needs to focus on accepting/dealing with her darker and often bottled emotions, but she's also something of a stranger to her positive ones as well... it's an interesting sort of conundrum that's occurred. She gets surprised whenever she does have a moment of genuine happiness because she tends to not realize what it feels like unless it's pointed out.
Otherwise though, she hasn't wanted to learn dunamis out of stubbornness, because she just wants to prove that she's "ordinary" even if it means she's... breaking things at home a lot from her unhappiness. Still, her garden seems to have benefited just from appreciation alone. Her entire house tends to reflect how she's feeling whether she wants it to or not--particularly anything bottled up.
Shipping/Romance: She's married to a husband that isn't there, even though emotionally she's a bit of a mess in that regard. Humorously, she's been seen on several Not!Dates with Jade Curtiss in the past, but honestly is pretty lonely otherwise. Of course anyone can show an interest in her, she just has a lot of issues in regard to her husband.
Something Handwaved: She's still occasionally being bullied by certain natives while she's out and about (in regard to the gate incident where her "son" was responsible for kidnapping and murder, it became easy for them to blame her by association even if she had nothing to do with it, and she easily assumed responsibility just by acknowledging Pride), which is something that anyone could take note of. She tends to go on long walks and spends time outdoors (usually in her own garden), but she'll also visit craft/bookstores for inspiration. Sometimes she'll stop in the park and do some crocheting if she doesn't think her presence is disturbing anyone. So if you want to avoid intros or even some smalltalk scenes, she's usually available in some way unless otherwise stated.
Looking For:
A familyGoodness, I don't know. Surprise me!Not Interested In / Avoiding: Pretty open to anything! Mostly just want to avoid falling into too much into smalltalk territory too often, as easy as it is to do with her, though it's understandably necessary in certain doses especially when starting off (as she tends to deploy it as a distraction method, save me). So it gets a little hardmode to get past the surface, in which case thank you for your patience! Basically I just need to know that there's more substance waiting ahead beyond the fluff and we're good.

Maybe Shinji can see her getting bullied by locals and step in when he's noticed she's someone Fuuka hangs around a lot?? Or we can come up with something else, but I absolutely want this CR since he doesn't know very many mom-like people, and with her knowing who Hibiki and Fuuka is, I feel like there's a lot of cute things that can happen with this CR. '^'

That sounds like a good idea to me! I think it's safe to handwave a little familiarity beforehand (especially thanks to associations with those people), if that'll help prompt his stepping in! She notably doesn't defend herself against the locals' nastiness, as much as she'd rather continue going about her business. Just about any setting works for that.

Ciel
Canon: Megaman Zero 2 (The very beginning of the second game)
Brief Personality: Ciel is a polite and sweet-tempered prodigy, who has taken on many burdens and despite her young age is struggling to make changes in a desolate world.
Appearance: Petite on all counts, Ciel has long blonde hair that she usually keeps pulled back. She has bangs covering most of her forehead, and blue eyes. She's a bit pale from being a shut-in; before Verens most of her time was spent behind computer screens. Most of her fashion tends to be stark but bright colors, very simple, and usually with her helmet and boots on to match which apparently is a very misleading thing for her to do when she hangs around robots most of the time. She is, however, very human!
World Type: Post apocalyptic, future earth-based world, with high level technology but not much else thanks to years and years of war.
Arehtei Alignment: Peromei
Established CR: Zero, and she has an interest in anyone he might associate with. Sora, who's definitely very close, and then Kor and Ionasal, Red and Steven Universe, and Laphicet. She's definitely lost some CR over the past few months and could use some new connections. Cloud should hopefully become a regular handyman for the house though...!
Interests: Researching energy sources, technology, studying, making life better for everyone, Zero, fixing her mistakes, working ... oh, you meant real hobbies? What are those?
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Despite being unfit from a battle perspective, Ciel's been a navigator through missions, tactical wise and all of that, so things like the task board would get her attention whether or not she can go along or not. As for the SoL side, she really has a lot to get used to in regard to everyday life things. Six months has of course made a difference, but she's still more focused on working than anything else, though recent events have had her exploring other sides like singing.
Current Developments: Ongoing research projects of varied natures. Despite a few interruptions thanks to plot events, she should be finished with creating a recording device very soon. She's still determined in her own way to try and change the future for Zero's sake and everyone else--but she doesn't know yet that she can't send items back home via the Arehtei, or the true reason behind his sacrifice in the first place. Ah, disappointment...
Future Developments: Mostly building off the current development, plotwise and seeing if that can lead to anything, and furthering her other options such as dunamis and learning to wield a bow, and hoping that more CR comes along to help open her up to new things not necessarily work related because help this child is a workaholic--
She also can "see" spirits at home (the cyber elves), which is a rare ability there, so that can apply to here as well, if there's something that can be done with that.
She's also nearly 16! If her friends could have wrangled a birthdate out of her, it's on 9/21. But of course things could be eventy around them anyway (and since she's one of those types who already was super mature. October will be her one year anniversary though!
Time flies...What about Emotions?: Ciel tends to try and hide her emotions, but here she definitely has trouble with that, which upsets her because she doesn't want to burden anyone with her troubles. She intends to study them more as an energy source, as well as something to use in her project. Her general effects tend to be bubble related, so she's also trying to learn ways to convert that into something more useful. She's slowly getting better at controlling the bursts unless she's genuinely too thrown off by something (LIKE FINDING OUT ABOUT... ZERO...)
Shipping/Romance: When she cares, she cares deeply. Right now she cares deeply about Zero even if she doesn't fully realize it, or that it's manifesting in an envy situation with his current girlfriend. And it's not healthy. Please, someone distract her and get her to realize there are other fish in this sea...
Something Handwaved: She's definitely a library frequenter, sometimes just in and out to return books, though there are few days she'll stay awhile and make notes there instead. Sometimes she takes notes of what's on the taskboard and researches that as well. Very quiet, efficient researcher...
Looking For: Maybe someone trying to be a guiding hand toward her and having her be confused by that (especially since the dream dust situation literally made that happen). She tends to be a big-sisterly type otherwise. Mostly looking for new CR opportunities and deepening current relationships!
Not Interested In / Avoiding: Even though she is a research type and obviously involved in that heavily, I kind of want to avoid getting too detailed or jargon explanations wise, I am not as smart as my character to keep that sort of info in line haha, so whatever can be handwaved would be best there.
Anything Else: Maybe your character saw this happen?
