— PLOT AND CR WITH ME —

We've decided to combine the plotting post and the CR meme into one general meme. It will still be posted on the first of each month, but we will be boosting this meme once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. Do check the post again even if it's been a week!

This post is for anyone to use for plotting throughout the month, and generating or suggesting more CR. However, this is separate from any future event plotting posts.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.

• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

World Type: (What's their world like? Again, you don't have to write a novel here! Is it a modern world, futuristic, something more fantasy or perhaps even vaguely steampunk or even post apocalyptic? Arehtei Alignment: (this might not be important to everyone, but it's interesting to know. Not to mention we have several characters where CR is dependent on alignment)
Established CR: (Sometimes it's fun to meet new characters using the "friends of friends" method. Who is this character often seen with? Negative and positive CR are possible jumping off points!)
Interests: (What are they most likely to be found doing? Hobbies are a good start.)

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: (Empatheias is a good mix of both, and it's not always an either or thing. What kinds of thing are you interested in doing with this character? Are they the type to be happy developing a life in Empatheias or has the wanderlust set in? Are they more likely to be involved in the overarching plot and exploration? Do they want to go exploring?)
Current Developments: (What's your character going through right now? What's gone on in recent past? What are they doing in their day to day life? Are they looking for a job or are they currently in the middle of planning an expedition?)
Future Developments: (Where are you wanting to take your character going forward? This could be serious character development, or general slice of life developments! Are they going to pack up and become a nomadic wanderer and explore the world or maybe you want to get them more involved in something else.)
What about Emotions?: (What kind of emotions are you wanting your character to work through, for good or for bad. Or maybe your character is interested in focusing their emotional power into Dunamis?)
Shipping/Romance: (let's face it, ship happens. in a general sense are your characters interested in romance? something permanent, or a fling or two maybe? Even unrequited love is something that can be fun to play out!)
Something Handwaved: (Not everything needs to or can be threaded out. Maybe you're interested in setting up some CR that's going on behind the bigger scenes and sets that we thread out! Listing what you're interested in or looking for here might prompt some interesting CR that you can then build off of more actively!)

Character Name: Y'shtola (Rhul) (I know it and I don't love it but at least she has a last name now)
Canon: Final Fantasy XIV

Brief Personality: A witty scholarly sort who doesn't put up with your bs but also cares a lot about whether you're all right. Sparing with outright praise; if she can depend on you, you'll know it. She's a healer and good with magic in other respects. Do not underestimate the bubble.

Appearance: The catlike ears and tail kind of stand out. They are white-furred to match her hair. Also her eyes are pretty vivid in their teal best and vertically slitted like a cat's.

She's not a cat though.

Carries around a leafy branch-like wand for doing her conjury.

World Type: "Fantasy", as suggested, but her homeland has a complete focus on knowledge and research and the canon as a whole is rather modern in scope when it comes to the sciences and advancements therein, in one way or another. Depending on where you live. There is copious magic and dubious running-water status. Depending on where you live.

Alternately, it's a big space spheroid with a matron deity who is your mom and is also a rock. A really big rock.

Arehtei Alignment: Sosyne

Established CR: Recently hanging out with her three new canonmates, and as of a few days ago works at Jude Mathis's clinic - so if your character is there, chances are they will see her there too! Otherwise, she's made acquaintances with - and would hello-there-well-met to - Weiss, Ignis, Naruhodou (if she could recognize him), Maya, and Sora.

Interests: Magic, history, all the books you can muster, delicious food, keeping her friends out of trouble...

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: THE UPCOMING ADVENTURE!!!?!?

Yeah she's going to that.

She comes from a canon/lifestyle where 'slice of life' and 'adventure' are often synonyms. She'll gladly help in any worthy cause, but enjoys quite time and the library as well. It's good to have healers on your adventure, okay?

Current Developments: She's been trying to help her friends adjust to living here and also being piecemeal filled in on what happens in her future, when they are all from. Working at the clinic is a big ooc step too! She is always background engaged in accumulating more information about the nature of this world and what exactly it might want with all of them, but she doesn't know enough yet to put forth any useful theories.

Future Developments: Right now, I'd love for her to have more and stronger CR! The cast is phenomenal of course but outside of them!! She could use more heads to bounce ideas off of, for one thing, and she has found she really enjoys discussing the magic of different worlds.

What about Emotions?: Y'shtola is learning Dunamis! Of particular interest to her is whether one is capable of manipulating the magic of emotions for use in healing or not.

Shipping/Romance: I would be very surprised. You are welcome to attempt flirting with her though.

Something Handwaved: I'm ok with handwaving meeting somewhere before in Verens! At the library or via the clinic or through some mishap (or dream) during Helisium. Just mention it ooc in your tag and I will run with it accordingly.

Looking For: Er, I think I answered this above, whoops.

Not Interested In / Avoiding: Too much violence; character death; copious jellyfish.

I suspect Shtola would have about 0% tolerance for Machina and his drama but! if they got talking magic, he could proudly tout the happiness of worshiping a crystal all day.

Alternately? Tinker Bell. Fairy nature magic. Conjure miqo. I could see this going places.

She barely tolerates the drama of her dearest friends, so you suspect correctly. She'd have interesting things to say about 'worshiping' a crystal all right.

What...size, I suppose, is Tinkerbell? Like I have seen Peter Pan, okay, but describe it anyway I guess. Like, approximately matching to in-game Scholar faeries?

I'd say she's about half the size of the scholar's fairies? If you stacked up a child's wooden letter blocks, she's about 2 1/2 blocks tall. The icon has her with some common household objects to help as a mental comparison too.

I'd love for Weiss and Y'shtola to meet again! Weiss would love to hear about other worlds.

And Y'shtola would enjoy hearing about Weiss's brand of magic! Any obvious places they might run into one another?

Weiss often passes by the library to borrow a book or two. They can run into each other then!

And then maybe Weiss can finally ask about the cat ears...

At least Weiss is from a world that has people with some animal-like features! It'll be a refreshing change from all these plain ol' hyur sorts.
