— PLOT AND CR WITH ME —

We've decided to combine the plotting post and the CR meme into one general meme. It will still be posted on the first of each month, but we will be boosting this meme once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. Do check the post again even if it's been a week!

This post is for anyone to use for plotting throughout the month, and generating or suggesting more CR. However, this is separate from any future event plotting posts.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.

• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

Hobbies are a good start.) <b>Slice of Life or ADVENTURE:</b> (Empatheias is a good mix of both, and it's not always an either or thing. What kinds of thing are you interested in doing with this character? Are they the type to be happy developing a life in Empatheias or has the wanderlust set in? Are they more likely to be involved in the overarching plot and exploration? Do they want to go exploring?) <b>Current Developments:</b> (What's your character going through right now? What's gone on in recent past? What are they doing in their day to day life? Are they looking for a job or are they currently in the middle of planning an expedition?) <b>Future Developments:</b> (Where are you wanting to take your character going forward? This could be serious character development, or general slice of life developments! Are they going to pack up and become a nomadic wanderer and explore the world or maybe you want to get them more involved in something else.) <b>What about Emotions?:</b> (What kind of emotions are you wanting your character to work through, for good or for bad. Or maybe your character is interested in focusing their emotional power into Dunamis?) <b>Shipping/Romance:</b> (let's face it, ship happens. in a general sense are your characters interested in romance? something permanent, or a fling or two maybe? Even unrequited love is something that can be fun to play out!) <b>Something Handwaved:</b> (Not everything needs to or can be threaded out. Maybe you're interested in setting up some CR that's going on behind the bigger scenes and sets that we thread out! Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
Brief Personality:
Appearance: Suave long-haired man who dresses practically but with a bit of flair. Wears two blades openly. Has a short scruffy 'beard' someone make him shave please. Most notably, wears a black bandana as an eyepatch!
World Type: Fantasy world with lots of monsters & a bazillion intelligent peoples. Technology ranges from like... renaissance to steampunk to futuristic relics of a past super advanced civilation? idk. It's a final fantasy world and they're always kinda weird...

Arehtei Alignment: Daimonia
Established CR: His castmates! Also Snow since he was invited to his wedding haha. Otherwise he's new as of last month so hasn't established much yet.
Interests: Sticking his nose into things!!!, research, sarcasm, flirting, climbing things, keeping in fighting shape, poetry

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Thancred is super on the ADVENTURE side of things! He needs to keep busy.
Current Developments: Still new and settling in!
Future Developments: Adventure....! I dunno yet. I wanna see where things go. c:
What about Emotions?: Mostly just dealing with frustration of being stuck here but nothing comes to mind just yet.
Shipping/Romance: Thancred would be open to a fling of two! Might have crushes or flirting or whatever, but don't expect serious long term commitment from him.
Something Handwaved: He attends classes sometimes at the Welcome Center & hangs out at the library. Also hunts. So feel free to assume they've met if their paths would've crossed! Just lmk. c:
Looking For: Friends? Fellow nosy people? People to do tasks with!
Not Interested In / Avoiding: anything to do with him being possessed...

Anything Else:
Looking at the following tasks as possibilities:
ST0911 - rap battle! personally i suck at rapping, but Thancred would shamelessly spout flowery poetic raps with sufficient motivation
ST0902 or ST0901 - hospital investigation and cemetary investigation. he's nosy and investigates things

*Mostly* though I'm looking to throw him at the Adventure soon if you'd like to plot something for that. c:

Ok but more seriously plotting! Thancred never actually saw Bismark with his own two eyes, but I always think of Bismark when I think of Soysauce i mean Sosyne. I'm sure they have things to talk about wrt Arehtei and Primal comparisons. But could have them deal with the ghosts or exploring the library and being very careful with the books.

Can also lottery for talking to the Lady of the Calm?

But because they trust each other without question and are both pretty courageous they should be ok dealing with the ghosts plus torches.

Oh! Yes, I think I will enter her in the Lady of Calm lottery. I also think of Bismarck and Ba'ul but Sosyne is more prone to dropping f bombs, I think? Bismarck just sort of goes /whale meat

Ghosts + torches is exactly what I had in mind. And flashbacks, because it is dark and Thancred's carrying an approximate lantern.

Canon: Final Fantasy XV

Brief Personality: Laid back super casual royalty who loves animals and enjoys helping people. Tends to sleep a lot.
Appearance: Skinny, shaggy-haired, tired-looking man with a beard. Could do with a trim & maybe shaving. Also could do with a few more meals in him and some rest. Looks more his age now.

World Type: Modern fantasy but with daemon malaria and people use the radio more

Arehtei Alignment: Thras
Established CR: He has lots of friends! Particularly close with the FFXIII cast, which I mention only b/c of the recent wedding of Snow & Serah, so you could've seen him there!
Interests: Fishing, sleeping, feeding and petting cats and other animals... he's gonna learn how to knit because of a bet :|

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Slice of Life just now b/c he'll be recovering from canon events!
Current Developments: Adjusting to & dealing with how his canon ends! Recovering from that b/c it was a pretty intense ordeal for him, and he'll be showing up in kind of rough shape.
Future Developments: He's gonna enjoy his retirement!!!
What about Emotions?: He's got some leftover trauma of dealing with everything and some adjusting to do. Prone to be sentimental over friends because it's been ten years since he was last here for him.
Shipping/Romance: He's engaged to Luna so not really open to other things. Plus he'd be super awkward about being flirted with. Which might be funny.
Something Handwaved: If you've seen younger him walking the dogs or fishing by the lake or w/e...!
Looking For: I dunno yet. I'm curious about reactions to his time skip honestly! But as he's more adult now he'll probably shitpost at people less. ... no that's a lie, pretty sure his sense of humor hasn't changed.
Not Interested In / Avoiding: Gonna avoid throwing him into much adventure for a bit!

hm. :|a Strain on his joints and stuff is probably more noticeable to Shin-Ah now - more like how his dad looks only not quite that bad as he doesn't need a cane. Plus scarring from being stabbed and maybe faint traces of the stuff his arm and side of the face like Nyx? Not as overt tho. idr... does shin-ah just see physical things?

Just physical, but that's all worrisome. He can see ghosts, but idk about magical anything that doesn't involve his blood brothers.

Still though. He's gonna worry-- and maybe this will get the two to finally talk a little more.
