— PLOT AND CR WITH ME —

We've decided to combine the plotting post and the CR meme into one general meme. It will still be posted on the first of each month, but we will be boosting this meme once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. Do check the post again even if it's been a week!

This post is for anyone to use for plotting throughout the month, and generating or suggesting more CR. However, this is separate from any future event plotting posts.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.

• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

World Type: (What's their world like? Again, you don't have to write a novel here! Is it a modern world, futuristic, something more fantasy or perhaps even vaguely steampunk or even post apocalyptic? Are there other unique parts about the world? Does everyone have glowing skin or innate magical abilities?)

Arehtei Alignment: (this might not be important to everyone, but it's interesting to know. Not to mention we have several characters where CR is dependent on alignment)
Established CR: (Sometimes it's fun to meet new characters using the "friends of friends" method. Who is this character often seen with? Negative and positive CR are possible jumping off points!)
Interests: (What are they most likely to be found doing? Hobbies are a good start.)

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: (Empatheias is a good mix of both, and it's not always an either or thing. What kinds of thing are you interested in doing with this character? Are they the type to be happy developing a life in Empatheias or has the wanderlust set in? Are they more likely to be involved in the overarching plot and exploration? Do they want to go exploring?)
Current Developments: (What's your character going through right now? What's gone on in recent past? What are they doing in their day to day life? Are they looking for a job or are they currently in the middle of planning an expedition?)
Future Developments: (Where are you wanting to take your character going forward? This could be serious character development, or general slice of life developments! Are they going to pack up and become a nomadic wanderer and explore the world or maybe you want to get them more involved in something else.)
What about Emotions?: (What kind of emotions are you wanting your character to work through, for good or for bad. Or maybe your character is interested in focusing their emotional power into Dunamis?)
Shipping/Romance: (let's face it, ship happens. in a general sense are your characters interested in romance? something permanent, or a fling or two maybe? Even unrequited love is something that can be fun to play out!)
Something Handwaved: (Not everything needs to or can be threaded out. Maybe you're interested in setting up some CR that's going on behind the bigger scenes and sets that we thread out! Listing what you're interested in or looking for here might prompt some interesting CR that you can then build off of more actively!)

Character Name: Trunks (future)
Canon: Dragon Ball Z
Brief Personality: Trunks is a polite, mild-mannered teenager (most of the time) who is half-alien and thus has crazy superstrength. He grew up in a post-apocalyptic future in which almost all the good guys were killed by superpowered robots, which is why unlike most Saiyans, he's pragmatic and wary. I know he looks crabby in a lot of his icons BUT HE'S REALLY NOT I SWEAR
Appearance: He has unusually colored hair, but otherwise looks like a 100% normal human! Even his hair color isn't unusual on his Earth, as humans sometimes come with three eyes or paper-white skin or something.
World Type: Trunks comes from a future version of Earth, but it's Dragon Ball Z Earth, so animal people, monsters, robots, flying cars, and dragons all exist. The president of the world is an anthropomorphic dog ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Arehtei Alignment: Peromei
Established CR: Some recent additions are Pearl, whom he's been chatting about wars and aliens with, and Warrior of Light, who's struck up a deal to practice swordsmanship/training with.
Interests: Trunks likes tinkering with machines, and is also trying to keep up with his martial arts training. Because Emp has caused some changes in his powers that he doesn't fully understand, he'll be trying to get better control over things. Otherwise, he'll be interested in getting to freely experience a lot of things he wasn't able to do when younger, like hanging out at festivals and stuffing himself with different kinds of food.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Both. Trunks wants to get back home, but will probably not get too involved in the overall plot as it seems like unlike his own world, there are plenty of people willing to step up. However, he is interested in exploring! Also experiencing normal life what is that.
Current Developments: The biggest thing is that with the Dream Dust, he's debating the best way to ask someone to take him out if he ever decides he's a Saiyan prince or something and needs to be kept from hurting other people. The problem is who and how...
Future Developments: I'm just playing by ear for now, but Trunks will be trying to settle into a normalcy he was never able to experience on his own world.
What about Emotions?: Gosh, hmm. Maybe the MASSIVE FEELINGSBOMB of growing up feeling both superpowered and helpless, finding his teacher's dead body, realizing his dad is a huge jerk, dealing with not being 'a real Saiyan', the list really goes on. I'm sure Trunks will be about as cooperative as any teenager in actually addressing any of this, but it's something I'm interested in exploring.
Shipping/Romance: TRUNKS DIDN'T HAVE TIME FOR ROMANCE BACK HOME but now maybe he does. He's from before Dragon Ball Super, so he is not yet into Future Mai.
Something Handwaved: idk idk
Looking For: Comedy/action/adventure/slice of life, I know that's real specific. I do like to keep things moving along, but am pretty open to a bunch of different things.
Not Interested In / Avoiding: Things that are so depressing in real life that I'd rather not have to deal with them in rp 8') -- terrorism, sexual violence, etc.

Anything Else:

These two honestly have a bit in common with the types of worlds they come from and experiencing things they've never experienced before... plus the whole knowing a life of fighting ~~and dying~~ and all. I'm really curious to see how they end up with one another since right now they've seemed to find something of common interest which is sword fighting/training and all.

Yeah, same! I've played Final Fantasies before, but not WoL's canon, so this should be interesting.

I'll try to not spoil anything for you then? Unless you really don't care but it also helps that he has memory issues, so. c: I look forward to their interactions!

I really like the idea of Bridge and Trunks just being buds? I dunno, their initial thread on the intro post was kind of fun. And for some reason, just given the world Trunks came from, and the fact Bridge didn't have a lot of friends for a while, I just imagined them being really awkward friends.

Oh, great! I liked their interaction, too, so I'll definitely hit Bridge up again the next time I see him :).

I think they both know Pearl, too?

Yeah, it was really interesting. I can't wait to see more of how they'll get along.

And that's true! Bridge might be getting a sword himself sometime, so maybe the three of them could do weapons training or something.
