Plot and CR With Me: September

— PLOT AND CR WITH ME —

We've decided to combine the plotting post and the CR meme into one general meme. It will still be posted on the first of each month, but we will be boosting this meme once the intro posts have been posted, and again during the mid-month announcement. Do check the post again even if it's been a week!

This post is for anyone to use for plotting throughout the month, and generating or suggesting more CR. However, this is separate from any future event plotting posts.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements" and "Task Board Recruitment" top levels for better focused organisation. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.

• For more general plotting and to talk about CR you wish to build, create your own top level following the format below. Put your character's name in the subject line, or your name in the subject line if you have more than one character.

• Fill out the form and comment away! The top level relating to the task board has a different form, catered specifically to task board related things, as well.

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 Giant Fish).

Future Developments: (Where are you wanting to take your character going forward? This could be serious character development, or general slice of life developments! Are they going to pack up and become a nomadic wanderer and explore the world or maybe you want to get them more involved in something else.)

Character Name: Oona
Canon: Original
Brief Personality: Blunt, refuses to lie, stubborn and very quick to anger. She's a mermaid stick in human form who hates humans... But she's very shallow and hypocritical, so if you're interesting or can amuse her (or if you're very good looking, male or female doesn't matter), she'll make generous exceptions.
Appearance: Oona wears as little as she can get away with. This generally amounts to short shorts and tank tops and nothing else beyond that. She finds humanity's fixation on clothes and "propriety' to be rally weird and she wants little part of it.

She also has a mess of scarring all over her, and she tends to try and flaunt it, throwing it in peoples' faces (in truth she WANTS people to ask about them because she lives to make humans uncomfortable, even if she hates the scars herself). Some look like they're from fights, but some look very surgical in their precision. Has jagged scarring on both palms as well.

Walks very stiffly and can be found wincing once in a while, as if walking pains her. (Hint: It does)
World Type: Modern world, but one in which fantasy and supernatural creatures coexist in secret alongside normal humans. Oona herself was caught and held captive/experimented on/etc for about 25 years before she killed nearly everyone to escape and ended up in this place.

Arehtei Alignment: Elios! She's a tiny ball of hate and rage.
Established CR: Utena, mostly. Yusuke owes her a painting and u better believe she'll make him follow through on it. She hasn't rally kept up with anyone tho... She's still not too trusting of people.
Interests: Fishing, exploring. She can be found sticking her nose just about anywhere and frequently innocently steals food, just grabbing it and walking off aimlessly bc the concept of 'money' is foreign to her.

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Right now I'm mostly sticking to SOL stuff with her as she gets comfortable and explores. However, it's Oona so... she'll tag along on anything if it looks interesting. Up to and including falling asleep somewhere she shouldn't and wandering in on an expedition like "sup guys"
Current Developments: Oona is drifting from place to place right now... She's a hobo, just getting her bearings.
Future Developments: Honestly, ideally, I'd like for her to start up crashing at peoples' homes as she establishes CR. She's not the kind of person who'd stick to one place for long, so a group of people to cycle through and sty a couple days here, a couple days there, etc. would be great.
What about Emotions?: Oona is very quick to anger and has very little control over her emotions, she wears them right on her sleeve so like. Someone control this fish.
Shipping/Romance: Oona is from a culture where it's generally one female clan head and her many husbands-- harems everywhere!! Oona herself is very flirty and would be quick to try and bring anyone--male or female--into her ~harem~ i am entirely for this failing every time and no one taking her seriously much to her annoyance.

That said, because of that too, she's open to flings and won't take things too seriously herself. She's very affectionate and quick to hug and kiss on people and just outright climb on them and sit on them she has little sense of personal space.
Something Handwaved: Like I said I'm sure she's gotten in trouble plenty of times for just picking up food from some stall and wandering off, so if there's people who would've stepped in to pay/help her out/etc. that's probably happened. Also she might've wandered into someone's home to crash on their couch if their door was unlocked.
Looking For: befriend this fish. i say she's a fish but she's more like a cat, keep feeding her and giving her attention and she'll latch on.
Not Interested In / Avoiding: just fuck me up tbh

hm... as a non-human who loves humans and really wants to be one, it might be really fun to see penny and oona butt heads! she's also incredibly innocent, so that could also be hilarious LMF

penny no.... why would you want to be human look how dumb they are. also they smell?? they probably smell

by which i mean I welcome this whole-heartedly. pls. oona might feel a little more compelled to soften her verbal blows given how innocent and nice penny is (it'd be like kicking a puppy....) but she's still honest to a fault and she'd want to know just why Penny would like these humans so much to begin with

Sora used to be a merman once! And one of his best friends is a mermaid! Maybe that would make for a good conversation point sometime!

If you would still like her to meet the giant turtle(s), I'd love it! Donatello is out of sight most of the time, but he will be gathering supplies often, swimming occasionally, and ready to step in if she gets herself in trouble.

I had to actually put the log off a little bc of some RL stuff BUT this comment reminded me TO do it so i'm. doing that and posting it now LMAO i'll still totally tag this tho if you'd prefer!

Character Name: Winnifred "Winnie" Prismall
Canon: Original
Brief Personality: Unflappably bright and cheerful-- even when the situation doesn't call for such a thing, she's usually found with a smile and a quick joke. She works very hard to appear sort of "sweet but rather airheaded and harmless." Deep down though she doesn't feel much of anything about anyone or, well, anything. She regards everyone and their emotions as interested subjects to examine and study and learn from. A sort of "scientist watching insects" coldness. She focuses on things being fair and balanced and equal as much s she can; she's really into the ideas of fairness and justice.
Appearance: Always wears white dresses in a style that still holds shades of Victorian aesthetic. Usually long dresses, with designs on them in gold or green, but again always white and typically never the same dress twice-- this is mostly because they keep getting impossibly dirty. Often around the skirting are dirty handprints or the hem is torn. Lately she's been experimenting with dresses that--gasp!!- show her calves. It's horribly scandalous.

Also wears her hair twisted up or in a crown-braid, usually with flowers weaved through it. She's going for an "untamed spirit" sort of air juxtaposed with the stiff Victorian aesthetic.

Also despite her smiles, there are times when she thinks no one's looking where she drops the act and will have a rather 'dead' look in her eyes and a blankness to her face. These are really rare tho, but super unsettling.
World Type: Alternate history, Victorian steampunk...ish?? She's from an alternate version of Victorian England where souls have been discovered to be very real and some people are born without them. THose people have the ability to remove souls from people and put them into others, which then are absorbed by the host body to cure illnesses and greatly lengthen lifespans. Typically these soulless people are rounded up into dormitories at a young age and thoroughly brainwashed/taught to purge their emotions and serve either the queen directly or the upper elite. Souls are a commodity and the lower class are quickly becoming prey for the upper class for their souls.

Winnie is one of these soulless beings though she managed to avoid being taken away from her father. She's also currently plotting a revolution and uprising of the lower class to overthrow the queen and take over herself BUT THAT'S FINE THAT'S NORMAL move along nothing to see here.
Arehtei Alignment: Daimonia
Established CR: Frequently found hanging around Anders and his clinic. She's also friends with Solas and Noctis and can probably be found ~~bugging the shit out of~~ HANGING OUT WITH them.
Interests: She goes daily to play and talk with the slum children and gives them sweets, gains their favor etc. She likes giving them a childhood. Other than that she's always on the look out for things to get into, stories to read etc. She loves poetry so she's collecting what she can. She also wanders out into th wilds to look for plants to help Anders out once in a while...

Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Winnie would get involved more in adventure if she could really fight--she can use a gun and a rapier but generally she's sort of weak in anything beyond that. But she's insatiably curious and it'd be nice to get her involved in bigger plots more?

She's also easy for slice-of-life stuff though because she just likes talking to people and learning everything about their worlds. She has a huge wealth of knowledge when it comes to religions, mythologies, poetry, fairy tales etc. that she loves to share.
Current Developments: Unfortunately life hit me super hard with a bunch of tragedies one right after the other, so I fell majorly behind on anything I'd previously been planning with to do with Winnie so like. If people are okay with the fact it took a million years to get stuff started, I'd be interested in picking things back up again. Right now she's just sort of. Existing... Helping Anders at the clinic is the only concrete thing.
Future Developments: I'd like her to foster better understanding of emotions and also to start experiencing some things herself, even if this is difficult.
What about Emotions?: I MEAN. GESTURES AT THE ABOVE. ANY PLEASE. Winnie takes an instant liking to anyone that makes her feel emotions strongly enough to actually have an effect on the world because that doesn't happen often, so regardless of if it's a good or a bad feeling she's super interested in them. Or anything that makes her actually feel.
Shipping/Romance: laughs.... Winnie doesn't feel anything stronger than fondness and has no idea what love is supposed to feel like. She only knows how to show love through physical or material means, so if anyone DOES fall for her she won't be able to return those affections really well. However that's interesting on its own to play with, and I'm all for people developing crushes on her or anything like that and seeing where things go!
Something Handwaved: As I've stated, Winnie helps out at the clinic often and hangs around the slums. She often acts as a distraction for people in the slums to steal things from people, or can just be found sitting on the ground braiding hair and telling stories. People are fully free to say they've met her in either of these situations or at least seen her/heard of her from there. Anyone who interacts with the kids or people in the slums might've heard about her so.
Looking For: Friends, mostly, I guess. REVOLUTION BUDDIES?? raise your hand if you hate oppressive governments and want to overthrow it!!
