Character Name: Y'shtola (Rhul) (I know it and I don't love it but at least she has a last name now) Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
Brief Personality: A witty scholarly sort who doesn't put up with your bs but also cares a lot about whether you're all right. Sparing with outright praise; if she can depend on you, you'll know it. She's a healer and good with magic in other respects. Do not underestimate the bubble.
Appearance: The catlike ears and tail kind of stand out. They are white-furred to match her hair. Also her eyes are pretty vivid in their teal best and vertically slitted like a cat's.
She's not a cat though.
Carries around a leafy branch-like wand for doing her conjury.
World Type: "Fantasy", as suggested, but her homeland has a complete focus on knowledge and research and the canon as a whole is rather modern in scope when it comes to the sciences and advancements therein, in one way or another. Depending on where you live. There is copious magic and dubious running-water status. Depending on where you live.
Alternately, it's a big space spheroid with a matron deity who is your mom and is also a rock. A really big rock.

Established CR: Recently hanging out with her three new canonmates, and as of a few days ago works at Jude Mathis's clinic - so if your character is there, chances are they will see her there too! Otherwise, she's made acquaintances with - and would hello-there-well-met to - Weiss, Ignis, Naruhodou (if she could recognize him), Maya, and Sora.
Interests: Magic, history, all the books you can muster, delicious food, keeping her friends out of trouble...
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: THE UPCOMING ADVENTURE!!!?!?

She comes from a canon/lifestyle where 'slice of life' and 'adventure' are often synonyms. She'll gladly help in any worthy cause, but enjoys quite time and the library as well. It's good to have healers on your adventure, okay?
Current Developments: She's been trying to help her friends adjust to living here and also being piecemeal filled in on what happens in her future, when they are all from. Working at the clinic is a big ooc step too! She is always background engaged in accumulating more information about the nature of this world and what exactly it might want with all of them, but she doesn't know enough yet to put forth any useful theories.
Future Developments: Right now, I'd love for her to have more and stronger CR! The cast is phenomenal of course but outside of them!! She could use more heads to bounce ideas off of, for one thing, and she has found she really enjoys discussing the magic of different worlds.
What about Emotions?: Y'shtola is learning Dunamis! Of particular interest to her is whether one is capable of manipulating the magic of emotions for use in healing or not.
Shipping/Romance: I would be very surprised. You are welcome to attempt flirting with her though.
