Monthly Plotting Post: July

— MONTHLY PLOTTING POST: JULY —

We had a few requests for one of these, so we're going to try it out and see how it goes!

This post is for anyone to use for general monthly plotting. This is separate from any future event plotting posts and should not be confused with a CR Meme! It's more for basic plotting for the month and mostly to help those who want to organize something through the Task Board.

This post will be linked to all incoming applicants, so please do check again.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Feel free to use the "Open Mingling Announcements," "Task Board Recruitment," and any other designated subthreads for better focused organization. Note: Any large scale group plots should still be posted to the OOC community proper.

• For more general plotting, comment to the entry to create your own thread. Put your Name in the subject line.

• If you have more than one character either use one comment for all of your characters OR use one top level and sub-levels for each character you have! This will reduce clutter on the post. If you do multiple sublevels, put the character's name in the subject line for easier identification.

• Fill out the form and comment away!

• Tip! If mentioning tasks, include both the task ID and a brief two-word blurb to easily identify (eg., ST0602 giant fish).

Occupation: Works for the library part time.

Current Plans: Nothing major. Looking at doing the G0703 - Pizza delivery task but otherwise he's free for a lot of things.
Looking For: I'm up for anything.

Alignment: Peromei
Brief bio: Dead soldier learning how to live again, both literally and figuratively. He's the big brother type
Occupation: Currently unemployed
Current Plans: North just got through learning about what went on back home after he died, along with just being more open about his backstory. He's mostly been sad but is getting through it.
Looking For:Anything and everything. Mostly chances for him to really get out of his slump, as well as potentially adopting people.

Extra: I'll be on hiatus for next weekend, so anything we plan will have to take place after that.

I should also mention now that tags will likely be slowing down at the end of July before shifting to very selective tagging and mostly hiatus for August, since I'm aiming to participate in murdergames at that time! Stuff started earlier in the month is definitely better than later!

Brief bio: Sora is a cheerful, optimistic ball of confidence. He wears his heart on his sleeve and loves to make friends and comrades in everything he does. He’s generous and kind, kind of dimwitted sometimes but his intentions are always in the right place.
Occupation: Regular at the Beastmaster’s Hunting Guild, part timer at White Rose Wedding and Party Planning Agency, part timer at The Gold Pan, part timer helper for Promptography

Current Plans: First few weeks Sora will be out of commission due to his stint at a Love Walker. He will be staying at Usagi Tsukino’s house and will be suffering the after-effects of the event full force. So that means Emotion Sickness, fever, fatigue, headaches and all. Once he’s got a few days to recuperate enough he’ll trying to make amends with those he’s hurt or worse.
Looking For: Sora won’t be available for task board jobs for the first half of the month. Then he will ease himself back into it near the end of the month. He’ll be looking to take it easy this month but I’m open to new CR or working on current CR. And of course partying it up at the festival.

Current Plans: Will be helping out with the clean up and restoration of the island. Also interested in going down and checking out the pillar of ice that is latched onto the island and maybe try to find a solution to the ice pillars problems. Current Plans: Kor will be taking on a big hunt with his team of Dezel, Sora, and Zero, but otherwise I've got nothing lined up for the month so far. ~~Month-long hiatuses will really throw off your involvement in things, lemme tell ya~~
Looking For: I'm going to avoid any heavy personal plotting for the month, since I'm still hella backlogged, but I'm open to taking on task board stuff, as well as festival stuff once that gets underway. I need stuff to help me ease my way back into the game. If you do want to set up a plot involving a Spiria Link, let me know and we can make plans for a future time!

Current Plans: Also going to participate in the necklace tournament, using primarily his pokeymans and to practice his ~~still wooden because Frog doesn't trust him yet~~ sword skills in actual combat. He wants to met his Arehtei at some time too when the grandcrab is not uh...busy.

Current Plans: Looking at GT0711, but she'll also be looking for a more stable job, preferably one dealing with animals. She's also starting Magical Girl training with Sailor Moon. Oh and she's also got a wyvern now.
Looking For: As mentioned above, she wants to find a more stable job. Preferably animal-related, but she'll also do anything with nature or maybe music. She's also looking to learn more about Thras, and the Arehtei in general. But mostly just looking for her to make more friends.

Extra: Work hours are changing again, plus I'll be taking a week off this month for vacation. But I'm up for back tagging forever, and I'm open for anything.

Brief bio: Fancy prancy flying nerd who loves to fly and will poke his nose into whatever he feels like.

Occupation: Hobo living with Yin and Hei.

Current Plans: GT0704/GT0705, GT0707 and ST0710 are ones I'm looking at as linked above. But can and will jump into CR doing other things! Looking to get some emotions happening this month for the tracker for future plans. Might do a general catch all or a separate post for firefly watching shenanigans and feelings. We'll see! Right now I'd like Dio to work on his CR he's gotten in my first month as well as poke around and get some new people to play with!

Looking For: As said, more CR if people are interested! Dio can be pretty flexible. He can stab things with people because he's very fight-savvy, he can poke people who need help opening up or who are harder to get CR with, and he can have shenanigans with fellow shenanigan-makers! I'm down for everything.

I love character bonding and backstory/feelings sharing and both want to do it for myself as well as help circumstances happen for other characters to do the same! So if there are things you have a hard time playing out, I'm down to do whatever to make it happen since I'm all for the give and take for tagging and CR bonding. C:

Brief bio: An intelligent, but prickly cave elf who's as stubborn as she is slow to trust. She's an adventurer who really likes exploring and, especially, treasure hunting. Despite her grumpiness, she's kind at heart and has a strong sense of justice. Often accompanied by a glowing, fluffy creature known as Carbuncle (who comes in three colors!) who is a lot more welcoming and friendly than she is on first meeting.
Occupation: Unemployed, takes any (reasonable) task she can find on the task board. Occasionally sews for profit when ends aren't being met (and, when desperate, will likely pickpocket).

Current Plans: No major current plans atm! Other than tackling task board stuff probably, Merisia will be working on her dunamis and trying to train her new Carbuncle a little more. She is recovering from the previous event, however, and will be rather low-key for the first week or so of the month. Not impossible to get a hold of, but you won't really see her browsing the market like she usually does.
Looking For: Just about anything! Personal plotting! Taskboard stuff! New CR! Furthering old CR! Shenanigans!

Extra: My apologies for being so slow the past few months. Life + work + stormblood happened, but I'm back now!

Brief bio: Brooding, quiet, and rather aloof, Cloud is a former soldier who spent a good chunk of his time fighting the darkness and now is trying to figure out what to do with himself as there really is nothing to fight. He can make a mean gyro.
Occupation: Currently un-employed but tends to make his money off the tasks off the taskboard.

Current Plans: Didn't look at the task board yet as I just got back from Anime Expo, so hit me up if there's any you'd like to partner up in! Otherwise, I don't have much in the way of plans. Cloud will just be helping his friends out and getting better from the emotion sickness, suppressing his own emotions along the way. He's pretty open otherwise!
Looking For: Making some more friends, I think? Open to both current and new CR and I'll be looking into throwing him into the festival in some fashion.

Brief bio: Grumpy soldier who's pretty sure most of the people he knows from 'home' already know who he is by now because nobody can keep a secret but SCREW THAT HE'S NOT TAKING OFF THE MASK. Stubborn and bullheaded with a Heart Of Gold^TM, just...extremely jaded and PTSD.
Occupation: Generally does tasks. Also does carpentry on the side.

Current Plans: I had a bad couple of months and am trying to get back in to things so would love new/old/ANY cr/etc!

Brief bio: Moe princess with a shounen heart. He's super loyal and passionate. Also a walking reaction.gif. He's haunted by thousands of spirits that just chill about him outta respect, but he doesn't know they're there. More info on him can be found here!
Occupation: Works at the spa helping manage the front desk and welcoming people. He also does various task board items.

Current Plans: There are three things I'd like to do! But I don't know if I'll get to it all.

First, I'd like for him to find a kitten. A fluffy little white one that he finds abandoned. He'll wait around to see if its mother or someone will come to pick it up, but eventually he'll take it home when that doesn't happen. And then panic because how does he take care of a tiny baby kitty?

Second, he keeps getting bullied into steam punk clothes because he doesn't know how to sew extra clothes of his own. Basically, he might seek out a tailor or seamstress who can replicate his robes. Because looking ancient is super stylish.

Third, I want to canon update him. If and when I do it'll probably be from a more recent point in time and he'd arrive all bloody and beat up. Oops.

Looking For: More CR in general. I've been struggling to develop solid relationships for him outside of his cast mates, and I'd like to work on that. I'd like for him to meet some more women in general, too. He's surrounded by guys all the time, baring his female castmates. He's also dealing with the fact that his feelings for a certain princess is unrequited. While he doesn't talk about that or intrude on anyone else regarding the fact, it sort of stings a bit. I'd like someone to draw him out a bit, and have the ability to drag him out to do and try new things.

Brief bio: Dumb sparklpire with relationship problems. She's cute and keeps telling everyone she's a magical girl. She's not. Overall she's compassionate with a strong sense of right and wrong. Lately her feelings are all mixed up because of her situation with her castmates and it has her vexed. She has an Information Post with game info as well as her powers and abilities. Also a Permissions Form in case people want to opt in or out of various things with Yuuki due to her abilities.
Occupation: ~~Magical Girl~~ who works at the skating rink. She passes out skates, helps teach beginners, and keeps the ice smooth and cold. Also she sometimes does task board items.

Current Plans: I am wanting for Yuuki to open up a flower shop. She wants to do something that isn't angsting, and Yuuki and flowers is cute. She might ask the network for thoughts and help. Other than possibly dragging a demon butler around, nothing really planned.
Looking For: More CR! Or to further develop the CR she has. I worry that she has a number of acquaintances, but none that could be truly considered friends that she could open up to more. She has a lot of cast drama and upset in her life at the moment in Emp, and she could definitely use a good influence. On the flip side I'm always down for adding terrible choices to her harem of people that she should not have befriended.

Brief bio: A scientist turned into a monster partly due to his own research, going from an antisocial man to a really irritable monster. Socially awkward to the max and can have difficulty expressing himself. He just got over a 170 year quest for vengeance and is having trouble living a normal life.
Occupation: Unemployed. He gets all his money from task board stuff. He thinks avoiding a M-F 9-5 job is his way of sticking it to the man. He is also homeless and lives mostly in the park because that, too, is sticking it to the man.

Current Plans: Forcing him to open up about his past, which is going to be difficult given that he hates bringing up his past so much that it is something of a running gag. This includes dealing with the fact it was recently confirmed he is a father and grandfather. He isn't sure how to deal with the fact he isn't alone anymore and actually has a future. Basically, I need him to learn how to have a normal life.

I also want to get him into researching because he is still a scientist and, unlike back home, he is stuck in the same one place here more-or-less and is starting to go stir crazy. He needs things to do. His specialty back home was particle physics, which the magic emotion nonsense here kind of fits with.

Looking For: Punks to knock around. Kids for him to awkwardly try to be an adult around. Drinking buddies. Hunting buddies. Other scientists and researchers.

Extra: sure, he's a monster, but he can cook yams? his family is weird.

Brief bio: Tiny scythe-wielding girl lacks social skills but can take down giant monsters like it ain't no thang. (I'm sorry I said "thang" in the year 2017, I take it back.)
Occupation: "Contract worker". That is to say she mostly does task board work! Odd jobs and the like.

Current Plans: Now that she's acclimated a bit, Ruby will be getting more involved with task board jobs and making??? New friends??? She'll definitely be participating in the Power Fighters tournament. Probably exploring a bit, too!
Looking For: I'd love some sparring partners for Ruby, because she's always itching to fight a new opponent and see different styles of fighting/weapons. She could be roped into just about any task without much convincing, and she also probably needs someone to show her how to cook without starting kitchen fires. Also, dog owners so she can set up puppy play dates with Zwei!

Brief bio: Shady thief kid who seems quiet and polite at first glance but gets sassier the more you get to know him.
Occupation: Currently working part-time at the Feline Nice Ice Creamery on a probationary basis (THANKS HIZUMI). No other official jobs, but he probably helps out at the bathhouse whenever he can and picks up task board jobs to make ends meet. Always looking other part-time jobs to collect b/c collecting them is like, a hobby or something.

Current Plans: Here's the task board stuff I want to do with him! Other than that, I mostly intend to have him check up on the people he knows post-Elios event to make sure they're okay. He's also probably going to start asking around for some Phantom Thieves jobs too (i.e. looking for bad NPCs whose hearts he and his crew can steal so they can test out the Verens metaverse) now that he's a bit more acclimated to Empatheias. BEYOND THAT, everything else this month is a blank page.
Looking For: MORE CONFIDANTS. i.e. people with whom he can make deals!! Fellow thief friends are also ace. Also, people who will go monster hunting and/or do other task board work with him. Part-time job coworkers!! People who can guide him to shitty NPCs who need their hearts stolen. People he can accidentally drag to the metaverse and then hurriedly try to explain what is happening to them afterwards?? This is not an exhaustive list I'm open to anything.

Brief bio: A quick-witted, bold and impulsive fashionista. Hokuto is a social butterfly who doesn't strive to fit the mold so much as reshape it. Loud and occasionally crash she is a romantic and a cynic, a realist and a dreamer. To her fashion and cooking are her most treasured skills, and friends are always a good thing to have and to make. No one is an outsider and everyone is weird.

Current Plans: Currently I don't have any plans for her, but would love to get her out more to meet new people and continue developing CR.
Looking For: Someone that has a love life she can but into and complicate, someone to try on ridiculous outfits she makes, anything and everything.

Brief bio: He's got a hard outer shell with a soft, gooey center... basically.
Occupation: None - just does a crapload of taskboard stuff

Current Plans: Current task board plans - he's looking for new friends or associates! Also, his mentor/housemate would've just gone home recently, so he might be looking for a new place to stay or he might just be down in the dumps about losing his only acquaintance from home. This could open up some interesting CR options!

Looking For: Both help with the task board and personal plotting are great - it'd be nice seeing Jean a little more emotionally vulnerable, honestly! Also continued or new rivalries are fantastic, and I'd love to continue to deepen current CR!

Also, I'm so sorry I dropped the ball on the Elios thread, I had some unfortunate timing with the flu... it might be better to handwave some of that stuff for me since it's so long after the fact now and it'll be mostly action! Either way, I'm going to aggressively hunt down the people I owe tags to on that because I do want your CR!!!
