Calendar.
The main calendar spreadsheet can be found here. At the moment, there is nothing scheduled to happen, but that can always change. The weather is getting a little warmer with Zephyras (Spring) around the corner, so there's a lot less snow as things are starting to thaw and leaves returning.

So here are the basic dates to keep up with:

3/01: Applications open.
3/07: Applications close; Reservations close.
3/18: Test Drive.
3/25: Activity Check starts; Reservations open.
3/31: Activity Check ends.

As always, any player plots or events will be added to the main calendar as they pop up, so feel free to throw events!

Activity Check Results.

Jobs & Task Board.
The Task Board has been updated so characters can start taking on odd jobs if they are so inclined. Details as to how the Task Board works and sign-up can be done here. In addition, there is a Job List sheet that list out more permanent jobs available for characters. These are different from the Task Board jobs as they can be used as part-time or full-time jobs and do not have any specific time period. If you want your character to have a job, that's it. This is also where we will list character run businesses. So if you have one or are thinking about one, there will be a place where it can be referenced and looked at. You can even make tasks relating to your business.

There are a few "odd" tasks on the board. They seem innocuous at first, however...

Verens Crystal Status + Emotion Tracker Update.
The Emotion Flow Tracker is rather colorful now with some very interesting results.

First of all, it's trending positive, so the large crystal hovering above the city will start shimmering a bit more gold. If this trend stays, something could happen next month—or sooner. In addition, all this positivity is making the city feel and seem a bit warmer and brighter, so those cold temperatures are warming a lot faster than usual.

Secondly, there is an interesting tally for all the represented Arehtei. The following table has two columns. The RAW column indicates the raw, individual numbers. The ALI-I column indicates the number of instances those who were aligned to that particular Arehtei commented. The ALI-C column is the number of actual aligned characters. The two ALIGNED columns are multiplied together. The TOTAL column is the total number of "points" each Arehtei received. The calculation is as follows: RAW + (ALI-I * ALI-C).

The final column, +/-, just indicates whether the Arehtei had more positive or negative emotions. What impact that might have...well we'll see.

So what do all those numbers mean? Daimonia and Sosyne had the most numbers with a total of 20, but then Thras came in second at 14, and Elios and Peromeitied with 12. In terms of aligned individuals, Thras and Sosyne had the most with 3 each. For the number of instances, Daimonia, Peromei, and Sosyne had 4 each.

All of which just means expect Daimonia and Sosyne to make a move sometime this month, with Thras, Elios, and Peromei also possibly making some kind of "appearance." The last three might not have physical appearances, but those aligned to them will notice something.

Finally, no one likes Piphron. That might not necessarily be a good thing.

Expect the Unexpected.
Normally we would give full details as to what to expect for monthly events. This month, however, is going to be completely "unpredictable." You won't have to worry about something suddenly ripping into your character or something that will involve a lot of planning. However, there are a few things you should keep in mind and be prepared for:

Watch the main community. As hinted, the Arehtei will make some more noticeable movements. Whether it's just more cryptic messages, physical changes, or a something falling literally out of the sky, they're coming. These events will be depicted in empatheias, and if anything major does occur that requires further information, there will be an accompanying mod announcement for further directions.
Note the emotions. Daimonia's and Sosyne's emotional ranges are going to be more sensitive than usual. That is, individuals will feel them more and they will affect the area more in general. As a reminder, their emotions are, respectively, joy-grief and calm-anger.
Those who are aligned. If you have a character that is aligned to Daimonia, Sosyne, Thras, Elios, or Peromei and would like to have something more plot related happen with them, contact us. This is especially for those who would like a more proactive approach instead of reactionary.

There will be something going up tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that!

Watch the Intro Log.
First of all, we aren't doing anything big during the application period since we don't want to throw any new players into an unexpected situation. So if anyone was worried about that, no fear!

However, some of the prompts will tie in to what's going on, so they can start getting a little more involved without it being too intrusive. This is especially so if they are already aligned. Thus those who may also be interested should keep even more of an eye out, and some of those prompts could be taken outside of the intro log and expanded on.

Player Plots & Events.
We'll close this announcement with a few plots and mingling opportunities created by players.

Running for Security Force. Fenris is gunning for the third slot and has his proposal here. More OOC information can be found here.
To the north! Enoch is following a lead toward Daimonia. Care to join?
Looking for bartender. Green has left Envy with a bar, and Envy is looking for a replacement.
Tracking emotions. Shun is asking everyone if they could keep track of their emotions to figure out their alignments.
Making friends. Kor is being a swell guy and asking people to make friends with Creed. What a bro, Kor.
International House of Pan—food. Alvin and Fractured Milla are starting a restaurant, and it's going to feature foods from other worlds. But first, they need recipes!

We might have missed some and only went back about a week, so be sure to take a look back yourself! Keep an eye out for the Character Intro Log as well. We try to keep up, but if you'd like to be listed let us know. If you'd like to throw your own event or plot, comment here.
