Important Announcement
Greetings, everyone. This is your head mod, Laena, with an important announcement.
As some may have already heard, Dragon is no longer part of the mod team and is no longer NPCing Thras. Because he had contributed a lot to the game, it was a difficult decision but one that had to be made. However, while no longer a mod, Dragon is still a player of the game so please do not let these changes affect anything in terms of play.
We are currently undergoing a bit of restructuring in regards to the "mod" team. I will remain as head mod, however Bella and Ryoko should now be considered as helper mods. They'll still help me with important decisions regarding the game, but they should not be considered as "main" mods as they had been before. This is actually putting them back to what they originally signed up for, and it works better for them as well. Thus there are currently no openings for modding per se, but a few spots may open for helper positions, like helping update the Task Board.
For Thras, we already have a replacement in the wings. Kat will be the new player and will try to retain the essence that Dragon had developed for the Arehtei. There may be some changes due to change of players, but nothing so drastic that it would be noticeable ICly. Dragon has done quite a lot for Thras and the development of Shaarnath, and it would be disrespectful to not continue it.
In terms of plotting, I will be working with volunteers from the Arehtei NPC Team. Because of how the game has changed, it just makes no sense for a mod team of any kind to not have them involved in future plots and events for the game as the Arehtei are important and their players need to know what's going on. Thus while I'll maintain my role as "director," they will be like plot devs and help shape the game's development and story. Please do not consider them as mods. They're really more like a think tank and will not be part of non-plot decisions. But we're keeping full transparency so players understand what the current situation is.
