This here is Shun Aonuma from a series/novel called From the New World, although some circles prefer to call it Shin Sekai Yori. He's a genius of a psychic from a future where all people have telekinesis, making him extra powerful - but really, he's so reasonable and nice about everything that it's easy enough to get along with him despite that. He's used to a peaceful world where the grass is green, clear canals are abundant, and... occasionally children go missing without anyone quite noticing. He's going to be experiencing quite a bit of culture shock for... a while. Humans? Fighting other humans? What do you mean, that's common?
