"Ah, Shirotsuki... That's a nice name." Rei wasn't sure what sort of honorific he should attach to it - because after all, the little animal wasn't his master. He settled for just sort of waving at it. Rei hoped that Hibiki didn't see his actions or words as patronizing, because he generally didn't feel like he was playing along, even if it was hard to believe.

"You have to get a job?" Back on topic, this was a new avenue to consider. Since Rei was still in school back in Japan, he hadn't given much thought to entering the workforce. He had at least been planning to continue through high school and college, but that probably wasn't an option around here. "That's another thing I'll need to think about. I haven't ever had to work before, so I'm not entirely sure what I would be skilled at doing."
