YIKES I got a lot of comments for this -- okay.

Like I mentioned in my comment to you (OOPS) Sanae's really sweet and really nice and really excitable and really friendly and Milla really, really, really doesn't know how to deal with it. Overall she does like Sanae -- she does! The thing about Verens is that people can meet her before they meet Maxwell... and the thing about Verens is that people can still meet Maxwell. Despite her attempts to get over her inferiority complex about being a "Fractured" existence compare to a "Prime" one, it isn't really working out too well. She knows they're different, but Maxwell has all the right answers and she's made all the right choices and she's just right and good and perfect and inspiring and Milla herself?

...doesn't really feel like she is.

...this became less about the cr with sanae and more about milla oops LET ME GET BACK ON TRACK.

So, because of the issues up there, her relationship with someone who finds it really easy to count her as a friend is unfortunately really rocky. She appreciates Sanae in the same breath that she complains about her, because she does appreciate her, even if she's a little uncomfortable with how easy it is for her to call them friends. Ahahaha sobs this is harder to get at than I thought--

tl;dr SORRY SANAE, Milla's noticing she's being too harsh anyway and she'll try to shove up some enthusiasm herself despite her fear that everyone's going to like her prime dimension counterpart ten times more than they'd ever like her and hopefully she'll learn to make her snippy commentary a little less mean the more she does so because she appreciates you and your time and hanging out and doing Stuff with her. (She's also going to totally invite her to the hot springs ahaha... I need to figure out when that's gonna be.)

edit: MOST OF IT IS BECAUSE SANAE'S FRIENDLINESS IS A LOT LIKE LEIA'S AND LEIA IS A BIT ANNOYING TO HER EVEN IF SHE MEANS WELL so don't worry, she'll get over it

You know, it's good that Milla has not questioned the 'so it's this easy to become friends by just calling themselves that' with Sanae. Because she gets that allllll the time by others. That means that Sanae is very much liking her all the more!

The woes over being from a JRPG.... people always act like they're your friends and then later on go "I'm doing this because we're friends, aren't we?" if you ever question why they help you out...

Okay that never ever ever ever happened to her, so it doesn't apply to her-- she mostly hasn't questioned it yet YET since they're usually doing something else at the time. When they have some down time and aren't ice skating/traveling through temples/COOKING COMPETITION!!-ing she might ask but it'll be in a uh

nicer way. Well, she's not gonna sugarcoat it or anything, but she'll at least think before she speaks...
