Aerith Gainsborough | Final Fantasy VII

d2. 100% organic

[Happiness and cheer aren't all that difficult to come by, Aerith finds, but the puppies certainly help. She's made herself available for both methods, alternating throughout the day between helping to imbue cosmetics with feelings of hope and good cheer and meeting with those who need a bit of assistance face-to-face. Either way, she's making good use of her unlimited Puppy Room access, and at one point takes the opportunity to sneak one of the puppies out to where refreshments are being served during one of her breaks.]

Don't tell anyone about this, okay?

[She grins, placing a single finger against her lips to signal that the puppy tucked beneath her arm keep this on the down low before taking half a sandwich from the food table and crouching down to hide behind it, feeding her new canine companion the stolen offering.]

After this, it's back to work! [Her voice is hushed, but not quite a whisper.] We're still on the clock. That cheer isn't going to spread itself, you know.

e1. think positive!

[Flowers have always been Aerith's strong point. When it comes to learning about this world's emotional effects and how to better understand and harness them, the class being offered in the botanical garden seems to be a natural fit. She smiles to herself as she kneels in front of one of the garden boxes she'd been assigned to; though she'd been informed of the tiger running lose within the garden, she's not terribly concerned. It definitely can't be any worse than a dragon, not to mention the countless other creatures she's come across in her travels, and if it preys on fear and anger, then she has nothing to worry about: she doesn't imagine she could bring herself to feel either in this place.

The garden itself is unlike anything she's ever seen, different than the one she'd kept in the church or the garden she'd tended outside her own home. The variety here is impressive, far greater than what she was able to make grow in the slums, but for all its differences, there's still a distinct sense of familiarity to it. She reaches out to the budding flowers in front of her, focusing positive energy as she'd been instructed, her smile warming as the flowers begin to reach higher and then bloom, turning their faces towards her hand as though it were radiating sunlight.]

Good to know I haven't lost my touch.

[It's been awhile since she's had the chance to put her green thumb to use, all things considered.]

c. amulets

I wonder if there are any limits on these the way there can be with phones?

[Aerith's voice is pleasant but curious as she ponders aloud. It's not her first time experimenting with the crystals, and they've taken some getting used to, but she's already finding herself quite fond of them. For one, they're very convenient-- and there's something to be said for functional accessories.]

Can they only reach a certain distance? Do you get poor reception if you're too far underground, or is there spotty telepathy service anywhere? So far, these seem to be much more reliable, so long as you take good care of them. Much less static, and fewer dropped calls.
