Character Name: Crowe Altius Canon: Final Fantasy XV
Brief Personality: A takes-none-of-your-shit soldier mage and former street orphan who puts loyalty and duty above a lot of other things. If you are worth it to her she'll put her life on the line for you, but it takes work to be worth it. Break her trust once and don't expect much of it ever again.
Appearance: Well, Libertus did say "there was something about her eyes". They are brown and intense. Otherwise nothing too remarkable.
World Type: More "Final" than "fantasy"; super modern type setting, they have cars and skyscrapers and cell phones. They even watch cartoons. But the war - there's a war, it's a long one - is still fought with a 'magic' vs. technology style, so to speak. Magic as such is only innate in certain royal bloodlines; any other Lucian using it is borrowing it from a source person. Don't ask me how.
Arehtei Alignment: Piphron
Established CR: Outside of the outstanding Eos cast, Crowe is very good friends with Lightning, decent ground with Auron, and will at least give the time of day to Ruby Rose, Dhurke, and Anders.
Interests: She runs almost every morning; trains in other ways a few afternoons a week, either with spells or with warping/some physical stuff, though it isn't her strength. She takes hunts.
Slice of Life or ADVENTURE: Crowe doesn't really know how to do slice of life, though she's learning how after six months of the Verens version. Still, she prefers action and gets bored sitting around! As long as it's not something shady or just busywork - and even certain busywork she'll do if it pays well.
Current & Future Developments: Honestly? Not much. I am on the lookout for an interesting or new direction I can take her in; the lack of material for her in canon trips me up sometimes. She ought to be convinced to stop being stubborn and learn some Dunamis, because her regular magic can get pretty draining. But good luck if you're the one trying to convince her she has emotions that need controlling.
What about Emotions?: This child really really needs to confront her canon situation and all the awful treachery and lies around it. She and Nyx practice a beautiful and well-cemented avoidance. If you don't want Kingsglaive (and some game) spoilers, don't take me up on this one.
Shipping/Romance: You are too funny.
I almost dare you to try to pursue Crowe. ...Okay, I don't really dare you, and honestly if it could be worked up to? Could ship her with someone or other. She isn't a romantic type, though.
Something Handwaved: Any hunts over the past months; seeing Crowe at From the Hearth, which is her favorite haunt, or on one of her morning runs.
Looking For: Filling this out has brought me the realization that Crowe has pretty tight CR with much of her canon cast...and not much outside of it. I will have to put extra effort into her branching out.
Not Interested In / Avoiding: Character death, mostly. I'm not as skilled at writing arguments or having characters deal with huge betrayals either but then I apped Crowe...
