Whaddya mean intended purposes? The factories try to put software in to compel certain behavior sometimes, sure, but it doesn't work too well. Easy stuff to kick, especially if you can get yourself to a braindoc for debugging. Those sort of behavioral compulsion bits are surface level. Trying to build an obedient drone just ends up making somebody stupid and erratic, so it defeats the point.
