I suppose the easiest way to explain it would be to say I'm something like a long-dead spirit, summoned as a familiar to a certain handsome wizard. As a spirit, it takes magical energy for me to manifest in a visible, solid form like this, you see? In fact, just maintaining my existence takes so much magical energy I should fade away without a contracted Master, but fortunately, I'm as clever as a fox!
