The more Chirrut spoke, the more Qui-Gon found himself liking him, despite his usually guarded nature. He was no Jedi, that much is clear, but he was strong in the Force--although Qui-Gon couldn't tell if he was Force sensitive or simply in touch with the way that all-binding field moved throughout the galaxy. Regardless, Chirrut was someone to exchange idea and philosophies with.

That alone was an exciting prospect.

"Perhaps it was the will of the Force for us to meet, then." Qui-Gon offered, certain in his own beliefs, "I cannot guarantee nice conversation, but at the very least, I would like you to feel welcome to Verens."
