[Mulan has always been attracted to things outside the normal. She isn't the most girly person around despite wearing her colorful hanfu. So seeing tattoos like birds across the neck is something that interests her. But she's too polite to ask about them aside from a slight flicker of her eyes to them and back.]

You missed the worst of it, then. Summer came back in a blink, that's something to be thankful for. And rebuilding is always a good first step. I've been trying to help with repairs and sometimes with volunteering to help the sick who are recovering.
