But zeir system of calling people to zis world ees not an exact science. Zey can bring anyone from any world, past or present, or even alternate versions of similar worlds. For example - I once met a version of my best friend who had no idea who I was.
Just as we don't come by choice, we cannot leave by choice. Some stay here years, others suddenly vanish and return to zeir worlds een under a month.
