Roxas really doesn't blame Demyx for any selfishness. He is fairly selfish himself in wanting to stay here, to continue existing when the alternative is to not. And as much as he wants to believe Sora, that Sora will find a way for Roxas to stay his own person, he still can't let go of the idea that that's not possible.

"Well, unless he shows up here, I don't think there's anything he can do about it. This place plays by a lot of different rules, one of which being that we're stuck here. And I've heard that when people go back, they don't really remember their time here unless they come back."

But he doesn't like the idea of Xemnas showing up here one bit.
