Exactly. I'm not sure why people want to feel that way but apparently they do. [There were enough real horrors and danger that Velvet wasn't looking to experience it as entertainment too.] Some people never experience a lot of real fear so they might consider something like this frightening and like it.

[They didn't really know a whole lot of people like that. Most of them were far too willing to face death that they don't go out seeking it in a performance. This world apparently had different sorts.]
