With the right kind of persuasion, you join it, of course. Whatever the reason Soundwave had been given that made entering this battle good enough for him, the soundless, near impossible to spot drone plane had been harrying the stolen ship for a while, easily evading nets and bullets.
Every time the Reaper made a pass over the ship most of the bandits were forced to scuttle for safety as hatches were opened to subspaces filled with sleep grenades, or worse, opened to allow long and deft tentacles to zip down and casually try to toss a few bandits overboard.
