Krebs probably wasn't the best person to be talking about emotions with; in fact he's probably the last person you would want to have power your world with positivity. Try as he might, he just couldn't really bring himself to care much about this world's problems, how it works or what was required of him.
It was all just noise to him. Noise that he blocked out as he sat on a bench; smoking a cigarette and looking lost in thought. As in really deep in thought, and whatever was going on inside that head of his was no good.
The light around him seemed to be swallowed whole, while the area around him just seemed to shrivel and crack. Closing his eyes, he took a deep drag from his cancer stick before blowing out a puff of smoke.
It seemed to calm him down some, as a bit of the suffocating pressure around him eased slightly though it was still there. Do you approach?

Knowing that work is easy to find here is a bit of a relief to Krebs; granted that he would rather not work at all, but even he has to eat. He wasn't too picky either; all work is honorable, his mother and father would say. Though thinking about them brought a pang to his chest.
A feeling that he quickly let go and tried to hide. Now wasn't the time to bring emotions into this. Not when he was doing something particularly silly. Finding a panty thief based on a rather vague description wasn't exactly how he wants to spend his time.
Though it's a decent enough cause, he supposes. "Excuse me, have you happened to see anyone suspicious looking? Happens to have a very noticeable cowlick and might be caring around lady's smallclothes?"
Though perhaps his parent's saying has their limits....
