I'm bringing the Sassy-tar in from Book Four at the end of Beyond the Wilds. To those that don't know Avatar speak, she's just come to terms and accepted a lot of bad personal shit. Like three years of bad shit. So that's actually a good thing. Since she's from a new canon point Korra will not be retaining any of her time spent in Empatheias and be a clean slate. And a new cute bob cut.
