Obi-Wan senses that he may have misspoke, but then, he knew he wasn't the most pleasant person to be around as of late. This Jedi Master was struggling with his own feelings, and the last thing he wanted was for it to rub off on anyone else.

"As am I," he said with a faint smile.

At Ezra's desire to return to what he was doing, Obi-Wan nodded and placed a hand on the boy's shoulder.

"Very well. I shall leave you to it. Though if you ever need anything, you can reach me through the amulet at any time."

And with that, he pushes himself back up to his feet.

"May the Force be with you, Ezra."
