[ Krul pauses when Yuuki mentions having been saved by this vampire, memories floating to the surface of how she had done the same to dear Mika. Of course, her methods involved having him drink her blood with a kiss and stealing his humanity away from him much as one had done to her thousands of years ago. The fact that this Kaname hadn't done the same to her, well, it piques Krul's interest, if only a little.

It's when she mentions being considered a child or even pet that Krul truly stops and stares to the girl who trembles with her voice. This situation somewhat mirrors her own with Mika with his being her "pet" in a sense despite her fondness and at times, gentle care she gives to him and not to others. Of course, there are certain reasons for such attention and protection given to him, having kept him close by her ever since she saved him (without his knowing) from the orphanage when he and the other children had been targeted to be killed. Those reasons have always been her own, even from him to a degree, though she can't help but wonder now what reasons this Kaname has for sparing this girl's life.

Though it's her speech about how she would do anything for him that causes Krul to laugh softly, humans always being so dramatic and willing to throw everything away for whatever it was they wanted. ]

Gentle?

[ And she's quick then, being one of the stronger vampires from her world, appearing behind Yuuki though to the point of being able to take her scent in from where she stands. ]

Despite how gentle you may think any vampire is, we're still just monsters who thirst for blood and that is something that even the most gentle of vampires will kill for.
