[Adamantly she shakes her head, though it slows a little as uncertainty rises. In all that time after he saved her, she had never been afraid of him. At least... not until recently. She remembers waking up in a strange room after having fallen asleep on the floor within the moon dormitory.
She can only assume he picked her up and brought her there. She had awoken with his coat upon her. But after sneaking to the door and peeking out in the hopes of finding him to talk- what she had seen had driven home the very basic difference between them. Unable to even stand, Ruka had slumped forward in his arms, and his eyes glowed red as blood trickled down her neck, and coated his lips.
It was the first time she truly realized that he was a vampire...a being that consumed living blood. And it was the first time she began to fear him a little. Even if, at the same time, she loved him too.
Her eyes lift back up to hers though, and widen in nervous shock. Unconsciously she takes a step back, suddenly becoming accurately aware of her hunter weapon, hidden upon her thigh. Not that she's very good at using it yet though. She only just began training before she disappeared here.]
We're the same age though... [Or close to it she thinks. She... she doesn't really mean that, does she? Even still, she can't calm her nerves down.]
