[Those little question marks hanging around Alice could be seen around Randel as well-- although, that seemed to be a near constant state for him, as he tried to navigate his way through this new city with varying levels of success. He leaned forward, watching Alice curiously as she conducted her lengthy and very thorough investigation with the same respect and regard that any subordinate would have for their superior officer.
