1) Notable physical features: Literally a goddamn skeleton. Specifically, an anatomically correct skeleton maybe 5ft tall tops with glowing white eyes, a near-permanent fixed grin (it doesn't open or close when he talks) and no shame whatsoever.
2) Age: Who the heck knows. He does sound like an adult male and occasionally even acts like one, just a very short one. (I headcanon him to be in his late 20s / early 30s, or at least the equivalent in hypothetical maturity, but seeing as he's a skeleton it is 100% reasonable not to pick up on that, like, at all.)
3) What are some of their most common emotional effects?: Almost always relatively subtle - slight temperature fluctuations up or down to fit his mood, slight discolouration of the environment if he hangs around in one place for a while, the vague sensation of a locked door over telepathic connections. Still probably better clues to what he's thinking than anything he actually says. Happy glitter does happen very rarely, so good luck glitter-collectors :|b He can wrangle his apathy in particular into dunamis effects such as erasing small objects or pausing them in time, but tends not to bother.
4) Where they live, and what their home is like: Lives with his brother Papyrus in one of the standard-issue residential apartments. It's small-ish and permanently sprinkled with glitter but otherwise clean and tidy, despite Sans's greatest lack of efforts; the exception is Sans's room, which doesn't bear speaking about, but that's always locked. He doesn't invite people over unless they're hanging out with Papyrus too, anyway. The other notable thing about it is that the bathroom has been repurposed as a storage area for extra spaghetti.
5) What they do during an average day in Verens: Despite his excess of jobs (see below), it's relatively uncommon to catch him in the act of doing any of them. More often, he can be found shopping around, napping outside, setting up highly unprofessional-looking stalls in the market square or in the streets, grabbing lunch at a cafe or restaurant (he frequents From the Hearth, among others), and just generally uselessly loitering. He's pretty amiable towards nearly everyone whether he knows them or not. Then again, seeing him in one place is no guarantee that he's going to still be there five seconds later. (He can teleport. He doesn't talk about being able to teleport. You probably shouldn't, either.) He isn't normally around at night, but once or twice a month he might be found at the docks / by the lakeshore / out in the fields with a telescope.
6) Their general sense of fashion: The best overall description is "doesn't give a shit". His canon (baggy, contemporary-looking hoodie + slacks) outfit has survived so far, but lately he's preferred to dress as inappropriate to the season as he can manage. Last winter, this meant steampunk shorts and sandals; right now, in Empatheian summer, this means oversized longcoats and socks with sandals. A few months back he spent several weeks in an eye-catching blue hoodie with a whale fin on the back and angry little Sosyne eyes, but he doesn't wear that cosplay any more on account of it catching fire.
7) Hobbies:shittalking nine-year-olds All the important things in life: food, sleep, bad jokes, stupid pranks and procrastination. He does whatever the hell he wants, pretty much. Actually, he has legit interests in astronomy, heavy theoretical physics and engineering (bikes, airships...); he just doesn't tend to share those very readily.
8) Jobs: He's a patrol officer with the Otherworlder unit of the Enforcers, he simultaneously holds down a part-time job at some nondescript grocery store and he's no stranger to the task centre. Again, though, he often doesn't appear to be present where he should be; he turns in just enough reports and shows up for just enough of his shifts to not get fired.
9) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Not as such. The weapons he could use in a fight are various kinds of magic that don't materialise until he needs them, but his by far preferred weapon is just making himself scarce when other people start waving theirs.
10) How long have they been in Empatheias? How has their time here impacted them?: 8 months. He... doesn't outwardly behave as if it's affected him at all, to be honest. It has, however, gotten a little easier to spur him into half-assed action and/or push his emotional buttons compared to most iterations of his canon. He has not had a good time.
11) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Once again, wherever the hell he wants, so long as it isn't immediate trouble :') I think this was mostly covered above, but if you want me to elaborate let me know!
12) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the amulets?: Generally, no. He's naturally a social skeleton and comfortable with chatting either way. He is capable of putting on a serious act in person if he really isn't your biggest fan, but there isn't anything stopping him from doing that on the network either apart from not having a reason to.
13) Is Empatheias a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It's kind of a downgrade, but he doesn't care. The amulets are as good as social media for annoying people :V
14) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Awful jokes and physics/engineering knowledge aside, he... can make surprisingly cute-looking hot dogs? No, he's way too unmotivated to achieve very much.
15) Do you have any goals for your character? Are there any hobbies you want them to discover or abilities you want them to learn?: I greatly desire him to learn some fucking chill. :') Failing that, more pun buddies or science nerd friends would always be nice... if they can coax the latter out of him to start with, which is unfortunately not a given. I will totally work with you on this, though!
16) Anything else you want to note?: Nnnnope? Nope.
