Character: Alvin | Tales of Xillia 2 | [personal profile] opportunitycosts | Piphron
Info + Plans: Former mercenary, spy, traitor, and other shady things, Alvin is now trying to walk a clean and honest path. In fact, with Fractured Milla as his partner, he runs and co-owns "From the Hearth," a restaurant made for everyone, both Otherworlders and locals alike. But as much of a "responsible adult" he's trying to be, let's be real—he still has the personality of a college frat boy. Charming, social, friendly, laidback, likes to have fun, and a troll, he knows how to have a good time and likes messing around with people if he gets the chance. Of course a lot of this is a front to hide the tragic sob story of his past but that's not that important. He's had some major developments, such as becoming Elize's official guardian (and father) and, gasp, he's no longer a bachelor! He and Presa have made up and hooked up. Doesn't stop him from being charming and flirting a little, though. Ability wise, he wields two handguns and a giant ass sword. He's learning to use the rifle though. I should do more with that.

In terms of general plans, like before just mainly focusing on trust issues. Though man, he's been so domestic lately that I have a big itch for Alvin having to do something questionable for the sake of a greater good. Or something spy-like. Who wants to play spies— Or something outside of the city. Trekking through, maybe after some monster or something and having to rough it out or something IT'S BEEN A WHILE.

Festival Plans: Although he'll be with Presa, it's not like they're joined at the hip. So I'm actually pretty game for about everything, especially the games. Like the Gumball shooter. And competitive sports. He'll definitely be at the shooting range. Last year I had him do a kissing booth, but not this time, ahahaha. I'm also interested in the maze and egg hunt!

CR Wanted: I love snarky CR. Even if my snark hasn't been up to snuff lately. But I'm also kiiind of interested in anything that might tug at his less than stellar roots.

Character: Shizuo Heiwajima | Durarara!! | [personal profile] hatesviolence | Sosyne
Info + Plans: Shizuo is a quiet guy, but he's willing to help out when he can. But hiding beneath that calm, unassuming demeanor is a temper that if not checked could risk the island's own stability. Yes, he has a very violent rage and with it comes incredible strength. Look up any video or gif of the guy, and 9 times out of 10 you will witness him hurling sign posts, vending machines, even giant construction beams and motorcycles. Lifting cars one-handed, kicking them down the road, and with a body built like a brick, he can be a destructive force emotionally and physically. BUT GOOD NEWS! He's been working on it and trying to control both his strength and anger, trying to use it so it's at least more productive than destructive. Really all he wants is a quiet, peaceful life—he hates violence and doesn't want to hurt anyone. Oh, he also works at Pleasante Café as a barista, has a pet porring, and if anyone harms Hibiki or Vorona they are instantly hurled off the island.

Shizuo has developed nicely so far, but you know what's even more fun? Backslides. Okay, maybe not completely, but while he's doing fairly well, that doesn't mean he has full control of his anger and the strength that comes with it—especially in a world like this. Having some kind of accident for him to then work on and resolve would be interesting. Aside from that, he's been training with Freya to become a dragoon (yes, hard to believe myself) as well as working with dunamis. Oh, and if he has the opportunity he's going to shove Vorona into all of his CR's faces because he wants her to meet his friends because yay friends. This is how far he's come /face in hands

Festival Plans: Keep him away from the sweets. Or rather, he's going to be eating a lot of them because sweets. I think I might have something with him doing something kind of strength because, ha ha ha whoops was it not supposed to fly off and land several hundred feet away? The flowercuff thing would either be the best or worst thing in the world. Really, any kind of teamwork thing because it really depends on who his partner is, ha. Aside from that, I'm open to a lot.

CR Wanted: While I like to continue to slow expand his little friend circle, negative CR. He actually doesn't have that many people he personally hates, and rivalries or enemies can also be interesting.

Character: Hak | Akatsuki no Yona | [personal profile] raijuu | Sosyne
Info + Plans: An aloof, confident, and somewhat arrogant kind of guy, Hak just goes at his own pace. He's kind of that "strong, cool" guy that gives off a badass or dangerous aura about him. Given that he's considered one of the strongest (if not the strongest) men in the country, he kind of earns it. An ex-general and bodyguard of a certain red-haired princess, he has a lot to bring to the table combat wise—and he's only 18. Personality wise, he can be kind of a jerk, but he can be friendly, too. He's not exactly all serious and enjoys messing around with people he knows well. He doesn't mince words, either, so he's definitely the "tell you how I see it" kind of guy. He is part of the Enforcers and questions Bobby's leadership everyday. Every. Day. He recently had a canon update so he's a bit more relaxed and trusting of others, especially now that Yona is back in town. Doesn't really change his attitude all that much, though. Just beware of his lightning bolts. And giant spear that he almost always carries around.

As for plaaans, right now I don't have much other than having him more involved with some of the bigger Enforcer investigations.

Festival Plans: He might actually be on security duty, but when not doing that or not with Yona, the activities that would most interest him would be anything sport related, the Gumball shooter, and being stuck in the maze with him would produce the driest, smallest compliments that would just barely get them through. Which also means, the flowercuffs would also be great.

CR Wanted: Everything. I think Hak does better if he's against someone who can deal with his snark and throw things back. Like a rival. Just someone who can really engage him otherwise he just goes on his own way. Maybe if he had someone he could mentor or train, that would be useful, too. Actually, he can offer up training lessons for weapon and martial fighting. With a small fee.

Character: Canach | Guild Wars 2 | [personal profile] canach | Thras
Info + Plans: Canach is the prickliest, driest, arrogant talking plant on the island. Unlike his more sociable brothers, he prefers to be on his own and only joins groups when it's to his advantage. Did I mention he's a talking plant? To be more specific, he's a Sylvari, which is GW2's version of the elf racial type. He can wield a sword and shield and his very knowledgeable about explosives. He also has an interesting view on justice as he has a bit of a chaotic neutral good type of view. He won't be breaking laws (this time), but that doesn't stop him from performing acts of vigilantism if he sees fit.

The only thing he will be somewhat involved in will be helping with some of the investigations for the upcoming Kylo Ren plot. After that, he's just kind of being a jerkface to everyone.

Festival Plans: Canach...doesn't really want to go, hah. He'll probably at least come to the flower viewing portion, but past that he's out. Or try to be out. Surely either one of his brothers or a certain countess will drag him, IN WHICH CASE the best kind of activities would be any where he's forced to cooperate. Otherwise he'll just leave.

CR Wanted: Okay, so Canach is difficult to gain any real, deep CR because of how he is which is a pain in the ass, I know. I went from super social character to most anti-social. The kind that would do best are those who are willing to get in his personal space and pester him. Might not necessarily be good, but hey it's something that can be worked on. Additionally, anything fighting oriented or doing any jobs outside of the city. If there are those who aren't into the whole "touchy feely" thing and are totally fine with just working as partners, that works as well. However, he can form interesting bonds with those he can sass with. Like those who don't really back down and just throw it right back. Makes it a bit more entertaining and worth his time. If someone can actually manage to get him to care about them, that will be a miracle. It's doable, but it'll take a lot of learning to trust the other.

So the next two fields can apply to all of them.

Not interested in: I'm pretty much open to anything. Only things I get a little shy of are anything that's too dramatic/traumatic that would make it really difficult for my characters to bounce back from/handle. If they can deal with it, though, then rip their heart/punish them away.

Shipping Preferences: Except for Canach, they're either taken or their ship partner is in game. Canach is. Look, who would want to be with that cactus?

Anything else: this is long and i cannot think of a fitting gif due to my starving stomach
